How do we learn from history and not repeat it without going into the weeds with blame-game. That is tricky.

Indeed, it is tricky. I think it's important to remember that the media's goal in bringing up this topic is to elect a Democrat president in 2016. They're trying to forge the connection for the less-alert voter: Iraq War = Bad = Republicans = Bad.

There is a useful discussion to have about the Iraq War, but we're not going to have it with Democrats, and we're not going to have it during an election.

Your point about immigration is very interesting. Clearly a lot of Republican voters perceive unrestricted immigration as a benefit to themselves, or at least as a non-harm.

This is what our media has become, purveyors of drivel spoon fed to a bunch of celebrity worshiping morons. This is what passes for cutting edge journalism. It is what it is. Obama is a worthless president who was elected by a worthless electorate who are more easily persuaded by appeals to their emotions than to their intellect. Don’t you get it, he’s a man of the times, for the times, the one person distillation of what we are, hence, exactly what we deserve. Today, no man or woman of any intelligence or value or moral stature can be elected to any office of public trust, or so it seems at the moment. If they were alive today neither Washington, Adams, Jefferson; nor Lincoln (that man of transcendence) could be elected. Compare those august men to Obama, a third rate man pimping third world ideas to a fourth rate people.

One other question for Hillary Clinton: Do you think it’s a violation of the equal protection clause to require men to register for the draft but not women? After all, shouldn’t your daughter and Obama’s daughters have to sign up if you’re Commander-of-Chief (Obama’s words)? Why should our sons have to die and your daughters live in the lap of luxury?
