Officials reveal TWO Philadelphia-area trains were 'shot at' within minutes of crash
Daily Mail ^ | 12:51 EST, 17 May 2015 | Daily Mail Staff

Federal officials this weekend revealed the train that crashed Tuesday, killing 8, was one of two struck by objects that day.
Investigators are now looking into the possibility the doomed train's windshield was struck in the moments before the crash.
Amtrak, meanwhile, has been ordered to expand speed-restriction system in area of derailment in Philadelphia.
NTSB investigators, however, said Sunday that no communication from the train indicated it had been hit by an object.

...snip
EPTA, Southeast Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, said there's no indication the object that hit the commuter rail train is related to the Amtrak derailment.

Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter on Friday reports of an unknown projectile 'had nothing to do' with the deadly crash.

Got to protect the homosexual. As if this caused him to accelerate the train to more than twice the speed limit.

Maybe his hand was on the wrong throttle.

The damaged window clearly shows the impact, but it appears it didn’t go thru the glass.

Well said and 100% right!

The evil regime that illegally seized power in 2008 via a stolen "election" will do anything to advance the sodomite agenda. Aside from Free Republic and a few other trustworthy sources, the homosexualism of Brandon Bostian is being deliberately covered up. His fruitiness, though, is more than apparent from his picture which is being suppressed by the lamestream, pro-homo media:

We know the speed limit on the curve was 50MPH. Do we know what it was just before the curve? I haven’t seen it anywhere...

I think this should be THREAD trains as the headline at Daily Mail was apparently changed to reflect. Investigators revealed that two other trains had suffered cracked windows after being hit by unknown objects just minutes before the deadly crash and only a few miles apart but so far no definitive word on Amtrak 188.

Mass murder is ok if you’re in a protected group.

My understanding is that although he has not given a formal statement and claims he doesn’t remember the crash (which could be true I suppose as he suffered a concussion, I think) he did give a blood sample and turned over his phone.

I've worked around the train industry for well over 10 years. The research caboose used on my project was shot fairly often. Lots of jackasses take shots are railcars. It usually happens out in wide open country. The root issue here is whether the "shots" have anything to do with the excessive speed that was the cause of the derailment. If not, it's just a shiny object distraction. Let's get back to examining the engineer controlling the throttle. That is the likely origin of the problem.

I heard while he was blowing his horn, a terrorist passenger snuck up behind him, knocked him out, set it at full throttle, and ran back to his seat to avoid being detected.

Yep. If I'm in a room of a house, or whatever, and something strikes a window, I'm going to recoil away from that window. It's a natural reflex, and is done automatically. Could that engineer have bumped up against the throttle while doing that?

The engineer would have to be really shocked by this event, as it takes at least one minute to accelerate from 50 mph to 100+ mph. As the windshield was NOT penetrated even after the crash, I don't see why would the engineer be shivering in terror for so long - even if he pushed the controls to the maximum. He'd have to be massively injured to forget that this track has a speed limit and a curve is coming up. He was operating trains on this route for five years, as I heard. Plenty of time to learn every turn, considering that there isn't much else to do when on duty.

If I were to guess, the engineer was high on drugs, or perhaps asleep. The crash occurred at 9:21pm; so a natural sleep at that time is not very likely. There are a beeper and a light to test the engineer's response, but some learn to clear it without a conscious effort - just like people hit "snooze" on their alarm clocks without fully waking up. I presume that the engineer's blood was sampled after the crash and is being tested.

We know the speed limit on the curve was 50MPH. Do we know what it was just before the curve? I haven’t seen it anywhere...

The posted speed ahead of the curve was 70 MPH. The coal trains that I rode on the open rails during testing would limit speed to 80 MPH. The Timken bearing generator in my equipment package included a 12-pole Hall effect tachometer. I could calculate the angular velocity from the tach pulses. The wheel diameter was 36 inches. 747 RPM.

The point is the engineer was exceeding the posted speed limit on entry into the turn and in the turn where 50 MPH was the posted speed.

This is to mess with the jury pool. DQ those who aren’t rabidly pro-homo, seat those that think a terrorist bullet or rock could stop a train doing 106 in a 55mph zone.

If I were to guess, the engineer was high on drugs, or perhaps asleep.

I would guess that too, if the train were rounding a curve in Iowa, with cornfields on either side.

But if (and that's a big if) other trains were struck in the same area at roughly the same time, I'd be less likely to put "operator error" as first on my suspicions list.

Regardless, this is a murky situation, and probably will remain so. The powers that be will want to protect the engineer, and no one will want to investigate the urban youths who hang out near the track.

Perhaps the whole thing will be blamed on a faulty ball bearing.

For those of you who know the charming world of Thomas the Tank Engine, that picture of the poofter makes me want to give him a name in that milieu, but I just can’t come up with one at the moment. Mr. Topham Fag?

Since multiple deaths were involved, did they bother to take images of his face/injuries? I would hope so.

BTW, why not video in the cab of the engine? They even have video on many amusement park train rides.

*****************************************************************************************************
They need to have more than his phone. They need warrants to have access to his computer records (searches, emails [including “deleted” ones], phone records). Will they get this information? I doubt it since they don’t seem very interested in looking into his recent “state of mind” at all>
