We Now Know the Truth of Benghazi, But Hillary Clinton Stonewalled So Long, Do People Still Care?

RUSH: There's been a bunch of document dumps lately. We now know, thanks to Judicial Watch and Freedom of Information Act request, we also know the value of stonewalling. We now know everything that there practically is to know about Benghazi.

We know enough to know that this country was lied to from beginning to end by Obama and Hillary. But now so much time has gone by that people have lost their emotional reservoir for that. "I mean, Benghazi? Who cares. Come on, Mr. Limbaugh, let's move on." But the fact is they knew about the Benghazi attack 10 days before it was to happen. They knew who did it. They knew there was no video that was to blame for this. They knew it wasn't as Hillary said, just a bunch of guys walking around town one night and saw a protest going on and decided to join it. It wasn't that.

It was an orchestrated attack. The White House and everybody involved knew exactly who was lining up to do it or shortly afterwards knew. But it was not the result of a video. We were lied to through their teeth over and over again for months, and this documentation that the Judicial Watch people finally got their hands on -- and they had to go to court to enforce their Freedom of Information Act request that they had made -- is now being produced so long after the fact. I mean, two years. You can understand if people yawn when they're told the truth about it. But we plug away here, folks, we keep going.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: All right, here is the Benghazi news, as clearly and coherently as I can impart it to you, with the assistance of Catherine Herridge at Fox News, and of course all of this uncovered by Judicial Watch. Now, according to a 2012 report from the Defense Intelligence Agency, as opposed to the Central Intelligence Agency. The CIA and the Department of Defense have its own intel agency, and that is called the DIA, and the 2012 Defense Intelligence Agency report released to Judicial Watch says the attack in Benghazi was planned 10 or more days prior to, approximately September 1st, 2012.

The intention was to attack the consulate and to kill as many Americans as possible, to seek revenge for the killing of an Al-Qaeda operative in Pakistan, and in memorial of the 11 September 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center. So it was to celebrate, commemorate 9/11. It was another attack planned on the anniversary of September 11th, and a 2012 DIA report admits, acknowledges the Benghazi attack was planned 10 or more days prior to September 1st. That makes it 20 days that we know the attack was planned 20 days before it happened.

"The DIA report also states a little-known group, 'Brigades of the Captive Omar Abdul Rahman,' claimed responsibility." That's the blind sheik. And there were people that were alluding to the -- I remember back in the aftermath of Benghazi, and I can't remember who specifically, but I read where some people thought that it was a group of people loyal to the blind sheik, Omar Abdul Rahman. He is routinely, his release is routinely demanded by various Al-Qaeda groups when they take Americans or American allies hostage. And of course we have not released Omar Abdul Rahman although I am told that Obama is considering it or has considered it in the past, in exchange, so he could have another Bergdahl garden moment. But it hasn't happened yet.

Now, the DIA report "indicates that within 24 hours of the attack there were strong indicators that the attack was planned at least a week in advance, and was retaliation for a June 2012 drone strike that killed an Al Qaeda strategist." It had nothing to do with that video. Obama's defense department intelligence agency knew that 24 hours after the Benghazi attack there were indicators the attack was planned at least a week in advance and was retaliation for a drone strike in 2012.

This idea that it was a spontaneous uprising in both Cairo and Benghazi, reaction to this video. I mean, that was an insult to our intelligence the first time they said it. They continued to insult. I tell you what, I'm tired of having my intelligence insulted. I'm fed up with it. You wouldn't believe the number of people that try it. I'm just fed up with it. There's no more condescending thing that anybody can do, and that's what these people, they have looked us in the eye, Mrs. Clinton, they have lied to us and to the families of the dead in Benghazi.

Lied to them right there standing next to the bodies and coffins draped with the American flag, lying through their teeth (paraphrasing), "We're gonna get that guy who did the video," Mrs. Clinton said. "You can count on the fact we're gonna get the guy that's responsible for this, the guy that did the video." And we find out that it was all done in retaliation to something Obama did, a drone strike, and he brags about being the killer in chief. He has the list. He determines who gets killed by American drones.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: I want to get to the phones today. We're gonna start in Stillwater, Oklahoma, with Tom. Thank you for calling, sir. Great to have you here on the most listened to radio program in the country. Hello.

CALLER: Honored to be first.

RUSH: Thank you, sir.

CALLER: With the Benghazi story there are obviously a ton of things that bother me about it. But the thing that disgusts me about it is what you said just a few minutes ago. That knowing that our president and Hillary Clinton stood next to the dead bodies of the heroes that went to help and looked the family members dead square in the eye, knowing it was a lie, and said, "We're gonna get that guy." I mean, it reminds me of something that you would see on The Blacklist.

RUSH: The TV show The Blacklist?

CALLER: Yes, sir. I mean, the amount of evil and the amount of disregard for just fellow human beings to look the loved ones of those who died --

RUSH: Hey, welcome to liberalism. This has been one of my -- you hit a hot button here and I'm having to rein it in. This idea that liberals own compassion and love and care about people, it's a crock. Look at what happens to the vast majority of people that vote for and support liberals. Look at what happens to their lives. Look at what happens to their job prospects. Look at what happens to 'em. They're miserable, they're angry, they're certainly never optimistic.

But, look, I agree with you. They knew full well that it was not a video, a renegade video on YouTube that had caused the Benghazi attack which caused the death of four Americans, and there they are at Andover with the coffins, the flag-draped coffins of the dead from Benghazi and their families all there and Obama and Hillary look 'em in the eye and say, "We're gonna get that guy that did the video, you can rest assured." Everything is politics, folks, everything's advancing the agenda. People are incidental to them.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: "In a bombshell report, the New York Times reported that Clinton, as secretary of state, used her private email to share private intelligence reports from noted conspiracy theorist and political hitman Sidney Blumenthal, at a time when Blumenthal was being paid by the Clinton Foundation and liberal political organizations," Media Matters, "that helped lay the groundwork for Clinton’s presidential campaign."

Okay, let's just take that paragraph. Now, the first thing that you have to know for that paragraph to make any sense, you have to know who Sidney Blumenthal is. And then after that you have to care who Sidney Blumenthal is, and if you don't already know who he is, I doubt you're gonna be made to care. But let me try. Sidney Blumenthal may as well live in Moscow. His son Max is one of the fire breathing character destruction defame artists at Media Matters for America.

Hillary Clinton and Media Matters and George Soros are one and the same, and everything Media Matters does is by David Brock, who is also one of Hillary Clinton's lackeys. But he doesn't get factored into this yet other than the fact that he set up Media Matters to destroy anybody that might harm Hillary, pure and simple, and the conservative media in general.

Now, Blumenthal is of such low repute in Democrat Party circles because he is a conspiracy theorist, because he's so loyal to Hillary that nobody would trust this guy to do anything. It's so bad that Barack Obama refused to let Hillary hire him in the State Department when she was secretary of state. He has always been her enforcer, consiglieri.

Whenever somebody needs to swim with the fishes, Blumenthal got the assignment. Somebody needed to be fitted for a cement swimsuit, Blumenthal got the call. When Hillary needed to know the truth about something that anybody was doing, Blumenthal did the research. Whenever Hillary wanted to get the word out about somebody but no fingerprints, Blumenthal did it. Blumenthal is the alter ego. Blumenthal is who Hillary would love to be in public but the country's not yet ready to embrace somebody that wacko. But that's who she would love to be.

Blumenthal, you know how women love gay dress designers because they're no threat and they have similar eyes on fashion and so forth? Blumenthal is the same relationship to her. She totally trusts his judgments, totally trusts his political instincts, and he is hit man number one. So much Obama was worried if Blumenthal's running around as a federal employee doing the things he's known for doing, Obama didn't even want any possibility that what Blumenthal did could ever be traced back to Obama. So he told Hillary, you cannot hire him.

She did anyway. And that's one of the reasons for the secret e-mail addresses. She hired Blumenthal anyway. She paid for Blumenthal out of the Clinton Crime Family Foundation. And this is one of the many things that the New York Times has uncovered here, in addition to the fact that Hillary was using a second private e-mail address on that server, despite having told everybody she only had one. She's been caught red faced in a lie. Do you hear anybody making a big deal about it? You do not.

So she used her private e-mail to share private intelligence reports. So what would happen, she would get intelligence, as secretary of state, produced by the CIA, the DIA, whoever, she would give it to Blumenthal, who was not a federal employee, and have him do with it whatever she needed done with it. He was being paid by the Clinton Crime Family Foundation and Media Matters for America, not Hillary. She wasn't even paying him personally.

Man, I'd love to be able to do that. Think everybody that has employees would love to have some ghost organization set up by you. Media Matters is Hillary Clinton. Media Matters is Hillary and Bill Clinton and always has been since day one. The Clinton Crime Family Foundation is ditto.

So Obama says, you can't hire that guy, I don't want him in this administration. She does it anyway, pays for him out of these donations that she's getting and that Clinton is getting, and whatever money is going to Media Matters, some of it's being used to pay old Sid. He's got a nickname. I can't remember what the nickname is, but it's like Sid the knife. It isn't that. Sid Vicious. Sid Vicious is the nickname.

"The emails," that the New York Times has discovered "included reports on Libya at a time when Blumenthal was seeking business in the country and included dubious information. The Times reported that Clinton nonetheless 'took Mr. Blumenthal’s advice seriously' and 'continued to pass around his emails even after other senior diplomats concluded that Mr. Blumenthal’s assessments were often unreliable.'"

Now, I don't know what that means. I mean, I can try. Okay, so the e-mails included reports on Libya. Blumenthal was seeking business. Okay, so Blumenthal, here we are, we're in Libya, and Hillary and Obama are engineering the ouster of Moammar Khadafy, which leaves the country wide open, and Blumenthal is running around gathering intel for Hillary and sees investment opportunities there. Now, this is a huge no-no. You are not supposed to be able to capitalize on government work this way, but technically he's not a government employee, he's a Hillary foundation employee.

So he's out there, and he's seeking business and investors for things that he wants to invest in, and ends up passing around sales type information to people, which it says here Clinton took his advice seriously and passed his e-mails around even after other senior diplomats of the State Department concluded that Blumenthal was off the wall. Yeah. He was writing intelligence memos to Hillary about things he was learning on the ground, and then that stuff, Hillary would share it with other diplomats and they would look at it, "This is crazy. Who's telling you this?" And it's her most trusted guy, Blumenthal.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Okay, so where are we here? So we got Blumenthal sharing intelligence reports. He is intelligence gathering in Libya. He is. For Hillary. She gets his reports, passes them around to other diplomats, who think it's all wet and silly. At the same time, Blumenthal is hunting investment opportunities, some such thing, while in Libya.

"A second story about Clinton and Libya broke the same day, this one casting further doubt on the Obama administration’s narrative about the attacks on US facilities in Benghazi on September 11, 2012, and specifically on claims Clinton made about nature of those attacks and motivations of the attackers." We've told you this one. "An intelligence report prepared by the Defense Intelligence Agency and sent to Clinton and other senior administration officials on September 12, 2012, just one day after the attacks, concluded that the attack 'was planned ten or more days' in advance and was meant to 'kill as many Americans as possible.' The report identifies al Qaeda-linked terrorists believed to have been involved in the assault."

It's even named some group that's loyal to the blind sheik, Omar Abdel Rahman. "Despite this, the Obama administration crafted a public narrative that the attack had evolved from a 'spontaneous' protest over a YouTube video and included a wide range of individuals." That has now been nuked. That was never true and anybody with common sense knew that wasn't true from the first moment the lie came out of Clinton and Obama's mouths.

But they persisted, they sent Susan Rice out. We now know she lied five different of times on five different Sunday shows. We know that everybody involved there lied. They knew exactly what this attack was about. You add to that that they made no effort to defend against this attack when it was taking place. This is outrageous. And our instincts on the day of the event and the day after have all been proven correct. And our instincts were correct because we know liberals.

We know Obama. We know how they act. We know what they're thinking. We know how they cover up. We know that everything is oriented toward passing and moving the agenda forward. You remember Mrs. Clinton and Obama even recorded a TV ad that ran in Pakistan blaming the guy that made the YouTube video, and they were both lying through their teeth. It took Judicial Watch two years to get this information. They submitted a Freedom of Information Act request. It was stonewalled.

That's what the Regime does. It's what Hillary does. It's what Obama does. It's what all the Democrat do, stonewall. So Judicial Watch went to court, and they sued, and they end up getting these documents released and they're heavily redacted. Even what we've learned here is just the tip of the iceberg because all the documents that do contain the info that was passed on are heavily redacted, and it gets worse than this.

And then Hayes goes on to talk about how Hillary hasn't taken questions from the media in nearly a month, the growing stench of scandal, it's likely she'll seek to avoid circumstances that might require her to provide answers. Yeah, she did some questions after to set the stage. Look, the break is coming up here very quickly. But I'm just telling you, anybody that thinks that Hillary helps herself by going out and speaking and answering questions doesn't understand. That's when her numbers go down, when she speaks. She cannot harm herself by shutting up. That's when her numbers stay level or go up is when she shuts up. When she opens her mouth, starts talking, that's when the negatives surface, and people don't like her. It's probably the ace-in-the-hole we have 'cause during the campaign she's gonna have to talk some point.

“their dangerous nonsense only serves to keep weak minded ‘conservatives’ voting on the liberal Republican plantation.”

In all likelihood they will be cheerleading everybody to vote for Jeb, or Rubio, or whoever the RINO is, if Cruz or Walker doesn’t make it to the general. Their whole “it’s your fault! See! See! I told ya so!” talking point is getting incredibly tiresome. So Romney is the first to have implemented socialized ‘medicine’ in the United States, the biggest and most invasive socialism program in our nations history, and somehow because he didn’t get elected, it is conservatives fault the country is circling the drain? It just would have been called Romney Care on the national level, and most likely, we’d have a national ‘assault weapon’ ban in place now too!!! After all, he would be the leader and all the good little republicans now in office would get on board with his legislation. Yeah, we would have been just so much better off.

Well stated.

No doubt we would have an iron clad amnesty as well.

Now Boehner & McConnell have to PRETEND they didn’t want to fund Obamacare and amnesty, even though they were 100% for it.

As long as FR lets them do it, why wouldn’t they? It only makes political sense for leftists to use the hated conservatives venues against them unless stopped. And for the past 3 elections they have had great success doing exactly that. You think by now we’d notice.

Well, I understand the passion for the issue. Being in Canada, I can tell you that socialized medicine is a disaster. Having said that, it’s one issue.

Not casting a vote for Romney is what gave your country a traitor. That’s a pretty high price to pay.

I wonder....if y’all had the chance to do it over, knowing what you know now about the treacherous weasel in the White House, would the stay-at-homers do it again, or would they hold their noses and vote for the nominee?

It’s one REALLY BIG issue. And frankly there’s no evidence Romney is any less of a traitor. Plus there’s the numbers game, if Romney was in the White House last year the Dems would have gained seats, so then we’d have had a liberal POTUS and Dem control of Congress. At least with Obie in the GOP gained the seats and next year when we more than likely get a GOP president he’ll have solid control of both chambers.

I won’t vote for socialists, period. The letter after the name doesn’t change that. And I didn’t stay at home, I voted the rest of the ballot and left the president section blank because neither deserved it. I got tired of holding my nose. If the GOP can’t put a decent candidate on the general ballot I don’t vote for him. I’m tired of the lesser evil thinking he automatically deserves my vote just because we both -R.
