Nine Bikers Shot Dead in Waco, TX, USA Biker Gang Shootout [VERTICAL VIDEO WARNING]
Live Leak ^

Posted on 05/20/2015 8:39:04 AM PDT by Enlightened1

A fight that escalated to gunfire between rival biker gangs in a Waco, Texas, restaurant parking lot today left nine people dead, police said.

Eighteen people were taken from the scene to hospitals, mostly for gunshot and stab wounds, Waco Police Sgt. Patrick Swanton said at a news conference. Everyone involved was a gang member, police said.

The violence began as a fight between "criminal biker gangs" at the Twin Peaks Restaurant in the Central Texas Market Place early this afternoon, Swanton said. The fight then spilled into the parking lot where gang members fired at each other, Swanton said.

"As that fight progressed, it progressed very rapidly from hands and feet as weapons to chains," he said. "My understanding a club was involved and knives were involved."

Officers were at the scene when the shooting started, police said, and some officers fired at the bikers. No officers were injured, police said.

Witnesses reported hearing as many as 100 rounds fired from 30 guns.

Police closed the entire Central Texas Market Place shopping area, saying that there was a danger of more violence.

"It is still not totally secure because of the intel that we're getting of individuals wanting to do some payback," he said.

Over the past few months, he says they were aware of rival biker gangs causing issues at the Twin Peaks restaurant.

"We have attempted to work with the local management of Twin Peaks to get that cut back to no avail," he said. "They have not been of much assistance to us."

Over my head?

Seriously?

You are progressively making less sense with each post.

Take a break.

You’re over-wrought.

“FWIW, a few years back, one neighbor within hearing distance complained about hubby working on bikes late at night so now we have a strict 10PM cut off time for any motor related testing.”

What a$$holes! Testing loud pipe motors through the night!

Dearie, I sincerely submit that you are becoming increasingly confused, period.

“Over my head? Seriously?”

Yes. Anyone that says they do dangerous acts simple because it is legal is way over their head.

Okay, that’s it.

You’ve totally derailed.

It is not illegal to own/operate an iPod or noise cancelling headphones, anywhere on earth.

You need to rest.

Truly.

Quit the hyperbole! It is illegal to drive with headphones on.

Let this be your last desperate stretch.

The issue was 2 second ignition switch tests on system wiring.

The motor fired briefly and was then shut down.

You may try and paint me as some horrible creature but all you’re doing is making yourself look histrionic and desperate.

For your own sake, stop.

I’ll be generous and assume you missed the part where the poster said he was _in his lawn chair_.

Which, I will also boldly assume, he was *not* driving.

*sigh*

This has become pitiful.

Fish in a barrel:

Driving while rocking out to your favorite tunes is perfectly legal when you’re blasting your car stereo. But is it illegal to drive with headphones or earbuds?

Using headphones or earbuds behind the wheel may seem safe — after all, you’re technically complying with all those “hands-free” laws that keep popping up in more states and local jurisdictions nationwide. Right?

Well, it depends where you’re driving. Some states specifically cite safety concerns in making it illegal to drive with headphones or earbuds — while laws in other states are much more hands-off. Here’s a brief summary of those laws:

Most states: No prohibition

Thirty-two states and the District of Columbia have no laws against the use of headphones or earbuds while driving, according to the American Automobile Association. These states are highlighted in green on this interactive map by AAA and the website Lifehacker.

Illegal, with exceptions

One state — Arizona — makes driving with headphones illegal only for school bus drivers and people who transport children for licensed child-care facilities, according to AAA.

Other states make it illegal to drive with headphones in general — but provide exceptions, such as:

Using headphones or earbuds in only one ear. This is allowed in California, New York, and Ohio, among other states.
Hearing aids. California, Florida, and Minnesota, for example, allow the use of devices that improve a driver’s impaired hearing.
Headphones built-in to protective headgear. This generally applies to headphone-equipped motorcycle helmets, which are allowed in California, Illinois, and Louisiana, among other states.
There are some other exceptions — such as for emergency responders, refuse collectors, and highway and construction workers. If you’re confused, consider consulting a traffic ticket lawyer who will know if driving with headphones is illegal wherever you choose to hit the road.

Yep! When the Government decides to come for you, you won't be Joe Outstanding Citizen. Or a Patriot standing up for and defending the Constitution. You will be some child molester, drug dealer, pimp, etc. And the posters on Free Republic will post, "What a dirtball, He had it coming. I'm glad they killed him. How brave the police were!"

As was Randy Weaver's wife, Randy Weaver was supposed to be a "White Supremacists.David Koresh, The inhabitants of Mt. Carmel, the children that were burned alive.

David Koresh was purported to be:1. A child molester. Yet the County Sheriff did not arrest of charge him for such. 2. Cooking meth. No evidence of a meth lab was found in the ashes. 3 . Have guns and ammunition. He had a Class 3 FFL through which he was authorized by the Federal Government to buy and sell firearms and ammunition, including fully automatic firearms, a/k/a, machine guns.

Not at you Sal, kinda ashamed this is happening. My friend was leathered up, helmet on and a lot more (It happened on a January morning on a Sunday). His wife was behind him on her scooter. Gator, just go away and pull that broad brush out of your ass.

OMG.

How horrible.

I too have watched friends die, right in front of me and there was nothing I could do to protect them.

I was driving the ‘drag car’ in case of any breakdowns and it was my job to watch out for the group.

You cannot, however, stop whatever happens in front of you, a half mile away.

You can only watch in horror.

August 10, 1997.
7:18 PM.

I grieve for your friend’s wife, especially.

For the longest 3 minutes of my life, I thought the boots under the van belonged to ~my~ ol’ man.

I was lucky.

They did not but I will never, ever forget that feeling.
