ROME, May 19, 2015 (LifeSiteNews.com) -- Pope Francis has appointed radically liberal, pro-homosexual Dominican Father Timothy Radcliffe as a consultor for the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace.

The Holy Father made the appointment on Saturday, according to Vatican Radio.

Father Radcliffe, an Englishman, author and speaker, was Master of the Dominican order from 1992 to 2001, and is an outspoken proponent of homosexuality.

"We must accompany [gay people] as they discern what this means, letting our images be stretched open,” he said in a 2006 religious education lecture in Los Angeles. “This means watching 'Brokeback Mountain,' reading gay novels, living with our gay friends and listening with them as they listen to the Lord."

In 2005, as the Vatican deliberated the admission of men with homosexual tendencies to study for the priesthood in the wake of the Church sex abuse scandal, Father Radcliffe said that homosexuality should not bar men from the priesthood, and rather, those who oppose it should be banned. ...

“I’ve noticed that all of these heretical clergy talk in this meaningless gibberish. They can’t defend their position using scripture or reason so they resort to this vague babble which has no discernible meaning and then act as if they’ve said something profound.”

Yes, and if you just take a look at numerous of the 1960’s and other pop and rock songs which have polluted our youth, try to make sense of the lyrics and you can’t. It is a form of smoke and mirrors to make you think they know some valuable mysteries of life when in reality they don’t. They just want to play the role of prophet, suck up the honors and monetary rewards and walk away. Rather cold hearted pragmatists if not downright narcissistic and demonic.

The church is responsible to remove people committing immorality from amongst themselves.

Sexual Immorality Defiles the Church

1 Corinthians 5:1-13 It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and of a kind that is not tolerated even among pagans, for a man has his father's wife. And you are arrogant! Ought you not rather to mourn? Let him who has done this be removed from among you.

For though absent in body, I am present in spirit; and as if present, I have already pronounced judgment on the one who did such a thing. When you are assembled in the name of the Lord Jesus and my spirit is present, with the power of our Lord Jesus, you are to deliver this man to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord.

Your boasting is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Cleanse out the old leaven that you may be a new lump, as you really are unleavened. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Let us therefore celebrate the festival, not with the old leaven, the leaven of malice and evil, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people—not at all meaning the sexually immoral of this world, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world. But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindler—not even to eat with such a one. For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those outside. “Purge the evil person from among you.”

Isn't it about time that the Catholic church starts following the Bible that it and y'all claim it WROTE????

We are all sinners. I beg everyday for GOD to hold me in his hands and guide me.

Why beg when Jesus already promised that we'd never be not held?

TRUST God for a change....

John 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

John 6:37-39 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day.

John 10:25-30 Jesus answered them, “I told you, and you do not believe. The works that I do in my Father's name bear witness about me, but you do not believe because you are not among my sheep. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand. I and the Father are one.”

If you trust doing church for your salvation, it will get you nowhere.

If you trust God, He counts believing Him as righteousness, just like He did for Abraham. You will then be counted righteous in His sight, just as Abraham.

is anyone still defending him? I agree, I pray for him daily and for the Church. I also pray the St Michael prayer daily. We are in perilous times and this Pope is either actively against the Truth, or oblivious.

“His primary language is Spanish and perhaps he has not been sufficiently briefed.

Ahhhh... I see. He's been "poorly catechized."

More proof that Roman Catholicism is nothing but a cult.

2 millennia in the making, and you’ll throw it away for an aberration?

An aberration?

No, business as usual.

Don't forget, your higher ups ELECTED him. They CHOSE him.

Are they not supposed to be being guided by the Holy Spirit when they do this?

Without the Church, we’d all be subjects of the Qur’an.

Wrong. Catholicism and Islam are not the only options available. Following Christ is one and nobody needs a religion to be in right relationship with God through Christ.

This is not the first bad Pope. Lots of bad ones in the history book. They are just men, appointed by men.

Oh really?

Not the vicar of Christ appointed in apostolic succession?

How is that determination made?

I AM CATHOLIC.
I choose to be and went through RCIA in 2000. So you want me to renounce my faith as of this?
You have no understanding of the Christian CATHOLIC Faith.
If, and only if, you read a bible that recognizes Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, which is the Apostles of Christ, Then, maybe you get it. Other than that, stick to your snake. handling.
We are all sinners. I beg everyday for GOD to hold me in his hands and guide me.
Free will is a bitch.
MaxMax, you need to pause for a moment of clarity which prayer will give you!

There. Fixed it for you.

While you're at it reading the Bible, try checking out your cult's Catechism - CCC 841 and learn that the Roman Catholic Cult is teaching that Catholics worship the same false god as the Muslims.

Reading a good bit in Mathew, Mark, Luke, John is a wonderful thing -- then when you're done, go read Romans. All of it. Might surprise you how much of God's word Rome ignores.

Funny thing is the Rainbow morons at Frontline, despite having documented the depravity and perversion, still manage to slip a few pro-homo propaganda moments into their work product.

I guess that’s just part of the cancerous nature of what they do.

Knock it off. There’s a definite problem, but to brand Catholicism a cult is absurd.

If it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck...

He was *misquoted*?

It was lost in the translation?

He didn’t mean what he said or did?

He’s not a *real* pope so we don’t have to listen to him?

Poorly catechized is my bet.

:D

Hey dearest, beautiful xs! You and mlizzy are much better than me. I don't pray for him at all, but I pray for our Church, Pope Benedict XVI, (never mind the *Emeritus*) and I pray St. Michael's prayer, too, (several times daily, sometimes)!

I have to admit I haven't liked Francis from the start, and he continues to solidify my reasons.

It's hard to believe the Holy Spirit was at work in his election, when it has always seemed to me that his election was more political or politically geographical than anything else.

I don't know his mind, but we know he's a Jesuit...

He doesn't speak English, but this "lost in translation" excuse doesn't wash. He's definitely Left-wing, IMHO.

God bless and keep you both and everyone precious to you.
