An Oologah police officer was shot while driving his car on Highway 169 in Nowata County.

The officer was driving this car when he was shot.

The officer was shot in the head during a pursuit.

Nowata County is one of the roughest places I have ever been. Just a good place to stay away from.

Only meaningful if compared to the “normal” number of cop shootings. If we don’t do that, we’re doing exactly the same hysterical hyperbole as the Black Lives Matter crowd. Picking out a few killings over a two or three year period and announcing that they prove something terribly important.

Not saying that shootings of cops aren’t up. They may very well be.

The demographics of the Oologah & Nowata area don't seem to apply. It appears to be a more organized and mobile type of criminal. Excerpts from fox23.com:

- Assault rifles, body armor were found in the suspects' vehicle.

- The suspect is described as a Hispanic male around 30 years old.

Thanks to the open borders politics of Democrats & RINOs, Will Roger's Oklahoma is long buried & forgotten. A GOOGLE search on "mexican cartel oklahoma" returned 376,000 results, leading with the following titles:

One poster reminded that Oolagah is in Rogers County. The pursuit must have moved into Nowata, County.

The problems many years ago were not the same as today. There were no illegal aliens such as Garcia or Mendoza in Oklahoma then.

Back then it was just plain local meanness gone out of control.
