Kerry to fly home on U.S. military plane after breaking leg: official (on a C-17)

A U.S. military aircraft from a base in Germany will transport Secretary of State John Kerry to Boston from Geneva for medical treatment for a broken leg, his spokesman said on Monday.
"Secretary Kerry will be transported (from Geneva) to Boston aboard a U.S. military C-17 transport aircraft. The aircraft, based in Ramstein, Germany, will be staffed by additional military medical personnel in keeping with standard practice," State Department spokesperson John Kirby said in a statement.

Too bad he isn’t strapped to a pallet and sent home on a C-130, the experience would do him good. He served in Viet Nam you know. LOL your idea sounds like a good plan to me. I remember the ships medical officer sent me from Naples, Italy to Rota, Spain to the hospital to see an ENT specialist. I flew on a cargo plane that I swear was flapping it's wings LOL. Big old bird. Lots of prop engines. And very loud too. Nothing like a long ride in a cargo net and a good box lunch. Something tells me he will have "ALL" creature comforts on his flight.
