although I’m all for the protests, I’m getting confused. Obama ignores the congress and judges, can a supreme court ruling be ignored by states?

Despite his flaws, I guess old Tom has still got some fight left in him.

Obama and the Clintons has given us ample precedent to ignore laws they don’t like.

I trust God to deliever us, BUT IF NOT, I will not bend the knee.

“BUT IF NOT” needs to become our rallying cry.

Tom thinks it’s 1959 & it’s the America he grew up in....sadly; different times.

Well, halleluiah, we finally have someone willing to protest for what is right ie civil disobedience. Now how many Americans will join him.

Former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay tells Newsmax TV he is ready to fight the U.S. Supreme Court tooth and nail should it rule that same-sex marriages must be recognized nationwide — including staging acts of civil disobedience.

So he doesn't know exactly what he's going to do but he's damn well going to do something?

All hell will not break loose. What’s really important is football and American Idol.

Would the assassination of media lefties be considered “civil disobedience”?

I’d support any and every kind of civil disobedience.

An America that has become so sick and evil to morally and legally equate two perverted homos as the same as a husband-and-wife is an America that I will happily see ground to dust.

"A ruling by the Supreme Court is nothing but an opinion if the legislative branch and the executive branch do not enforce it"

I suspect that if an "opinion" of the court carries enough weight to compel legislative and executive compliance with Roe v. Wade, terminating with convenience the offspring of heterosexual unions, there would be no compunction to terminate the institution which sanctified heterosexual unions.

Is Newsmax the same company that donated to the Clinton Foundation?

Sigh- really Tom? Gay marriage has been spreading in the states since 2005. What has been done to stop it up until now? All the states that had their gay marriage bans overturned by courts buckled under. What’s left? Just buckling under again.
Truth is, most Americans don’t care.

Would that it were, as John Kerry would say, but I bet most people will shrug and give in.
