I got shot in the leg once with a .22 pistol. Long story. Teenage stupidity; not all of it mine.

There’s enough pain in growing old without resorting to this.
I got a 9 penny nail through my foot jumping over a fence. A rail was knocked off by a cow. I managed to jump directly onto the exposed nail that was facing up in high grass. If shooting one’s self in the foot hurt HALF as much as a nail through the foot it was pretty darn, bad. I couldn’t walk on it for 2 weeks. Let’s not forget the tetanus shot, antibiotics, steriods for swelling....who even considers doing such a thing for God’s sake???
Indeed. Using a .22 is to feeling gun shot as sipping from a straw is to trying to drink from a fire hydrant.
I’ve been shot with a .38. What does it feel like?
Imagine someone striking you with their fist at maximum strength from four inches away. That’s what it felt like, followed by an aching, deep pain.
Oh..and let me add I did see stars and thought I’d pass out any second. Was home alone (of course) and could only crawl the 50 yards to my house amongst briars, thistles, cow patties, etc. I’m simply in awe anyone would do such a thing and not like actually be contemplating suicide and just getting it over with. My gracious me.
It wasn’t the nail going in that bothered me so much it was pulling it out that hurt.

I started taking a good quality salmon oil capsule - (I like New Chapter brand. I don’t work for the company or have any interest in the NC company either.) I can only swallow one capsule a day; if I swallow two of them I burp up salmon oil for an hour. - Even the one capsule helps a lot with the arthritis. I need to remember to swallow one more capsule a day to get even better results. (Guess they aren’t helping my “thinking cap” all that much. :O)
Was he using his medical marijuana at the time?
