TPA sounds reasonable, but let’s pass it when there’s a Republican president in the whitehouse instead of the irreparably corrupt one we have now.

I believe Cruz. He has done nothing in his years in the Senate to convince me otherwise.

TPA has been around for 70 years. Kill TPA you kill any chance that the next President will be able to work on. (That can very well be President Cruz)

We need to kill TPP and anything Obama proposed since it will not help America, as been proven time and again.

Screw Cruz. Screw Walker. Screw any politician that is willing to sell-out the middle-class of America to unelected, unaccountable technocrats.

ObamaTrade is Obamacare, but on a global level.

And it will be us poor taxpayers bearing the brunt of the costs worldwide!

I called my congressman today. Did you?

I called mine yesterday. I suspect that opposition calls are 10-1 but he's still going to vote for it. My congressman is bought and paid for by the Chamber of Commerce.

TiSA: A Secret Trade Agreement That Will Usurp America’s Authority to Make Immigration Policy.
Money quote:

“The leaked TiSA text makes it clear that contrary to the claims by proponents of fast-track trade promotion authority, the reality is that those voting for fast track are ceding key powers to make immigration law and policy to an unelected group of corporations and foreign governments.”

Hey cripplecreek here is what a founding father of this country wrote in 1802 regarding banks and corporatists that are striving to shove this TPA, TPP, TPIP down the Americans throat!

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control their issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their father conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs. Thomas Jefferson 1802

I wonder, with all the incomprehensible moves the Congress has taken with nothing done to stop Obama’s march to shred the law to pieces with his executive actions and overreach, has this been some Machiavellian strategy?

A quid pro quo?

We let you run loose so long as you negotiate and pass this trade treaty. After all, this has been in the works for six years and longer.

Has the Congress averted their eyes to achieve this one, huge signature treaty?

Go ahead and vote for one of the candidates who are lying about their support, I'm sure they'll stick with the lie. Some of you people really are too stupid to vote safely.

As far as the candidates/potential candidates are concerned, I haven't looked at them all but so far Perry, Walker and Jindal have all supported TPP or equivelent treaties.

Amid Secrecy, Rick Perry Retracts Obamatrade Support: ‘I Would Rather Barack Obama Not Be Negotiating for Me’

In May a spokesman for Perry told Breitbart News that he supports the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP)—one of three largely secretive trade deals that would be fast-tracked by Trade Promotion Authority (TPA). But he’s changed his position.

TPP Proponents Close to Clinton Remain Optimistic About Her Support

Scott Walker had this to say.

Well, I talked about TTIP the other day in Germany in Hanover at the industrial fair there, and I think fair and open trade is a good thing on either side of the continent for the United States, whether it’s on the Atlantic or the Pacific. Obvious the details need to be worked out and there’s a lot of details including some specific to my state that need to be worked out. But I think in the end, having a deal that’s fair and offers fair and open trade would be a good thing for the United States and for our trading partners.

Bobby Jindal talks economic development, TPP with Taiwanese President Ma Ying-Jeou

While the negotiations were discussed, Plotkin said Jindal will take a position on the agreement when final terms are agreed to: "We are optimistic and hopeful about expanded trade with this part of the world. So we are hopeful about the TPP.

And how many treaties that have been negotiated through “fast track” have been voted down? Zero. None. Zip. Zilch. Nada.

Put Jeff Sessions and Ted Cruz in a room together. Both of them are trust worthy under “normal” circumstances. One of them is NOT running for president.

I trust Jeff Sessions to set his hair on fire only for a reason. There is danger. I trust that Cruz can hear Jeff, and answer him, DIRECTLY, or change his support forthwith.

Until that happens, the guy not running for president has the floor, with a LOT of people.

Thanks for doing that.

I have a Dem congresscritter, but he voted no on the rue yesterday—I told them I wanted him to vote no today as well, in spite of Obola visiting Capitol Hill today.

The big problem with the TPP is the up-or-down vote requiring only 50% of the House and Senate. It’s a treaty. That means it should be so unarguably in the interest of the United States that it would acquire the support of 2/3 of the Senate it should need. Passing any other mechanism for ratification should be held unconstitutional.

I can't get over that if its so good, why is it so secretive, under lock & key in the basement?

Paul Ryan, mimicking Nancy Pelosi, "pass it to know what's in it."

-No Thanks-

Whoever is giving Ted Cruz advice to vote for this will probably terminate his chances of getting the nomination.

Ted Cruz biggest base was the conservatives. Now he has turned on them.

The Republicans are probably going to force Bush boy on us.

It will be Bush vs. either Hillary or O’Malley.

The Democrats, with all their new immigrants voting multiple times along with the pissed off conservatives that will NOT VOTE for Bush, will create a landslide for the Democrats to the White House in 2016.

I have no doubt that Cruz will know this down the road.

The fact that OBAMA IS ORGASIMING OVER IT.. should make every conservative that’s for this pause

When Americans find out all that has been done to in this deal they are going to be beyond pissed.

Thanks for selling us out Ted Cruz!

You just lost my vote!
