Be honest: the South at the time stunk in a lot of ways.

Not the least that it was pretty solidly run by Democrats.

Be honest: the South at the time stunk in a lot of ways.

Massachusetts never outlawed slavery until after the War of Agression. But Massachusetts was happy to make a lot of money off of the war, the uniforms, the ammunition and the rifles. Does that stink too?

And northerners have been happy ever since to re-write the history of what really happened.

I hope you are aware that there were thousands of blacks who owned slaves in the south and thousands of whites who did not. The first person who petitioned to have his indentured servant became a slave was...are you ready...was a black. And do you know that some slaves petitioned to go back into slavery because they were having a hard time taking care of themselves. Some things haven't changed.
