Sickening new ISIS video shows caged prisoners lowered into a swimming pool and drowned [tr]

Vile jihadis fighting for the Islamic State in Iraq have brutally murdered five prisoners by locking them in a metal cage and lowering them into a swimming pool. Filmed in the ISIS stronghold of Mosul, the sickening seven minute long video uses expensive underwater cameras to film the terrified men as they sink below the surface with no hope of escape. Shortly afterwards the cage is lifted back out of the water, with the dying men - who are understood to have been accused of spying - seen foaming at the mouth as they lie motionless on the floor of the cage, piled on top of one another.

“ISIS is producing and publishing footage of these atrocities, but no one gives a shit.”

Not “no one”. Just the ones in power who have the authority and means to put a stop to this: president obama and the rest of his administration.

Well put rarestia.

I can't wrap my head around such behavior.

It is like ISIS is luring the most demonic of the human race to their cause. They seem to be a competition amongst themselves to come up with the most horrific way of killing someone.

Awful—wait til Americans are killed—no wait—they have been—wait til a protected class like blacks, gays, and Trasgenders are locked in the iron cages of death—Then—maybe—the American media will take notice. This must be stopped now before barbarism becomes the future—our future.

We’ve been told they are the JV team.

Imagine when the Varsity team arrives on the scene.

And people wonder how the world could have ignored the Nazi slaughter of Jews, Gypsies and Christians.

Apparently it’s pretty easy. So much more important news, like our hero Bruce Jenner and Kim Kardashian’s mammoth butt.

I thought the West (Britain & France) went to war against the Nazis because of the invasion of Poland. The U.S. went to war against Germany because they declared war on us on Dec. 11, 1941—in solidarity with their Japanese allies. I know there is controversy about who in the West knew what and when about Nazi atrocities, but I don’t think they were a cause for going to war. The full horrors were discovered only in the last months of the war as the camps were overrun.

I wasn’t trying to attest to the core reasoning for war. Fact is that much of the atrocities weren’t uncovered until well into the war. My point is that atrocities are out in the open with ISIS, but everyone continues to go about their day as if nothing is wrong.

The so-called leader of the Catholic Church and the so-called leader of the free world are too worried about getting their sorry asses killed to speak out against terrorism.

I don’t know if it’s standard Islam. The Spanish fortress in Manila has a chamber that is below water level during high tide. They used to lock prisoners in it and watch the water rise.

But the Spaniards of the 1500s could have learned that from the Moors.

I understand your point. But Americans had knowledge of Japanese atrocities in China before Pearl Harbor, but there was no call for war against Japan. It wasn’t considered to be “our problem”. Even when it became our problem with the sinking of Panay, there were no calls for war.

Most Americans didn’t admire Hitler and we didn’t agree with his treatment of the Jews, but again, it wasn’t “our problem”. We turned away a boatload of Jewish refuges (SS St. Louis) trying to escape Germany.

The French and Brits drew a “red line” at Poland. When that red line got crossed, they did something about it (unlike red lines drawn by Nobel Prize winners). As a result, the Brits lost their empire, and the French their national self-respect. And in the end, Hitler pretty much achieved his goal—a Europe free of Jews.

I've read a fair amount of history that includes evidence that Roosevelt knew what was going on. Even in the days when surveillance was much more primitive than what we have today, it is ludicrous to suggest that six million people were murdered in Europe without word of it getting out.

I believe the most likely case is that Roosevelt knew, but he felt the best and fastest way to alleviate the suffering of the Jews, gypsies, and others was to win the war.

Prior to the US entry into WWII, there was plenty of press about Nazi savagery. The American people simply did not want to become involved in another Euro war.

Similarly, the slaughter of millions in Cambodia was no secret in the 1970's. The American public generally took a "not my problem" view of things.

My thoughts exactly. It’s history repeating itself .... Only this time, were FULLY informed and aware of these atrocities. Yet we do nothing.

ISis are the new Nazi’s. We are the new Germans ....

One only needs to look at history to see what became of all of them.

“Where’s the pope.”

The pope called for military action against ISIS last August. http://www.businessinsider.com/pope-francis-endorses-use-of-force-against-isis-in-iraq-2014-8

Maybe you should pay more attention.
