One dollar to obamacare is one dollar that feeds the beast.

It’s best to do what you can where you’re at.

And do think about this: You can not eat gold and silver.

May God bless you.

Dear Justice Roberts,

Here was my original reply to your first act of tyranny.

On this day, I make the pledge that when my employer drops my health insurance, I will not join the exchange. When the IRS fines me, I will not pay that fine! When that results in the IRS issuing a warrant for that fine, I will not comply! When they knock on my door to enforce the warrant, I will not answer! Eventually, they will kick in my door to enforce the warrant and at that time many will pay a heavy price! The “tolerant and compassionate left” must be willing to shoot me dead to enforce their utopian dreams!

The Government must always be willing to enforce their utopian ideas with the force of a gun and their confiscation of my physical being is a very bright line. I will pay a heavy price, but I am hopeful that price will be paid to the benefit of my progeny!

I will not succomb to slavery!

Its more than a friggin rumor check this one out.
How were the Children Adopted?
....................
According to The New York Times, based on information from Mrs. Roberts’s sister, Mary Torre, the children were adopted through a private adoption.

As explained by Families for Private Adoption, “[p]rivate (or independent) adoption is a legal method of building a family through adoption without using an adoption agency for placement. In private adoption, the birth parents relinquish their parental rights directly to the adoptive parents, instead of to an agency.”2

But was Robert’s adoption utilizing “a legal method”?

Apparently the process of adopting Jack involved some stress for John Roberts. According to Dan Klaidman of Newsweek, during the contested 2000 election, Roberts “spent a few days in Florida advising lawyers [for George W. Bush] on their legal strategy,” but “he did not play a central role,” because “ at the time, Roberts was preoccupied with the adoption of his son.”

It is now quite evident that the two Children were from Ireland. Even wikipedia references these adoptions at the time of Roberts’ confirmation, and indicates that the children were of Irish birth.

However Irish law 1) prohibits the adoption of Children to non-residents, and 2) also does not permit private adoptions, but rather has all adoptions go through a public agency.

This would explain the children’s origin from a “Latin American country”, so as to circumvent Irish law.

Evidently Roberts arranged for this adoption through some sort of trafficking agency, that got the children out of Ireland and into that Latin American country, from which they were adopted, thereby circumventing two Irish laws — entirely illegal, but perhaps quasi-legitimized by the birth mothers (two) transporting the children out of Ireland.

Undoubtedly Roberts and his wife spent a great deal of money for this illegal process, circumventing Irish laws and arranging for the transit of two Irish children from separate birth-mothers to a foreign nation. Come 2012, those two children have been with the Roberts’ for roughly 10 years, since they were adopted as “infants”.

Some might feel an impulse dismiss this information, mistakenly believing Roberts and his wife were doing a good thing for a children needing a home.

That would be an inaccurate belief. As recognized, such an inter-country adoption would only come about at great cost, and those who utilize this method are creating a for-profit black market in adoptive children, trafficking across international borders, and doing so from mothers who have not yet given up their children except for that profit. Such actions are creating a very unsavory profit-for-children human trafficking market that even necessitates immediate contact with new birth mothers in dire circumstances to offer financial gain. The entire arrangement is thoroughly predatory, turning children into only financial commodity, and even providing motivation for their birth mothers to give them up! That’s an important ethical recognition.

You are so correct, this would not have wiped out the law and really it does not make it much less tenable.

I guess I would add two more points. Roberts may well have joined the majority to assign himself the opinion to try to make it ad hoc to this case rather than a general precedent that the court can try to fix bad language in a law. That is had it been 4-4 without him Roberts might well have voted with the other side.

Voting with the majority also gets him a less divided appearing court, ie 6-3 v. 5-4. I think he wants the court to appear less political. The problem is that he has 4 votes left political votes he can do little about.

“Obamacare will fail on it’s own accord since Millennial’s are not going to join. “

That’s my read too. When you look at the numbers, at some point the whole thing goes supernova.

What do they have on Roberts?

It matters not.

The deal is done.

All this talk about it solves nothing.

Yes, the SC was never going to strike down a major piece of Government legislation as unconstitutional.

They haven't done that since striking down the NRA during the Roosevelt administration.

Good afternoon.

In the fwiw dept., the First lady (my wife) will not buy the 0bamacare. We have already paid the penalty (tax) for 2014.

She (we) can't qualify for Medicaid, and the premiums for SCOTUScare are too high (plus the deductibles prohibit, no cost/benefit).

She is willing to go to jail.

If we can't resolve that conflict peacefully, then all bets are off.

You’re right about Obamacare. I will look for a concierge doctor and pay cash.

I have no doubt Zero will destroy the market as well as confiscate 401K programs. Thus, gold and silver (as well as skilled tradesmen) will become the underground currency, IMO.

God bless us ALL. Indeed.

What the regime has on Roberts is the fact that he and his wife smuggled in his kids from Ireland to Central America to the US which is against Irish law.
The regime found out and are now black mailing him whenever they need to.

I think it has to do with Roberts two adopted kids, something wasn’t done right about that.

Here is the plan I’m toying with today: Drop Medicare Advantage and go on Obamacare

ACA policies only go to age 64.

Good luck with your stock market speculations (really secure LOL) and your gold, silver, and currency stashes, all of which will be ruled illegal to transact or barter with (paper will be replaced with digital "cash"), and neighbors (even miles away) given special state privileges and money to rat you out.

So, will somebody tell me again why we even bother having Congressional elections? Why we have Congress actually meet, and draft laws? How do we get rid of these idiots on the SC, who obviously have contempt for our Constitution and the separation of powers?

“And the states that did NOT want to participate in the Obamacare exchanges will simply be billed, by the federal government, for those medical costs incurred by those signed up in the exchanges. One way or another, the red states are all going to be paying for this too now.”

The feds can’t just “bill” the states. SCOTUS already ruled that the Feds cannot force the states to set up their own exchanges, so how can they “bill” them?

No, what is going to happen, as the costs of Obamacare start to pile up and raise deficits, is that Obama is going to be forced to seek to raise federal taxes.

During the last few elections there were conservatives that said we needed to clean house at the GOP. At this time, what is the point of having Republicans win? The didn’t stop anything and their SCOTUS judges sometimes turn Left. There’s absolutely no reason to remain GOP.

Hey, guys. Don’t give up hope. The ACA has the seeds of its own destruction.
The decision was only about the tax credit (Premium assistance, to you).

It didn’t touch one very important aspect of the ACA, namely:
Take a look at this ACA provision

SEC. 1555. FREEDOM NOT TO PARTICIPATE IN FEDERAL HEALTH
INSURANCE PROGRAMS.
No individual, company, business, nonprofit entity, or health
insurance issuer offering group or individual health insurance coverage
shall be required to participate in any Federal health insurance
program created under this Act (or any amendments made
by this Act), or in any Federal health insurance program expanded
by this Act (or any such amendments), and there shall be no
penalty or fine imposed upon any such issuer for choosing not
to participate in such programs.”

So, in those 36 states on Healthcare.gov, no one has to join and can’t be penalized.

Sorry for the icewater bath, you raging libs.

I’m told, with Zero’s new 40,000+ “regulations” on citizens, every person commits a minimum of 3 felonies a day. We’re already compromised on a daily basis! We’re all criminals - from the minute we take our fist sip of coffee or shower with an excessive amount of water! (Never mind flushing the toilet!)

For instance, I have a drainage ditch on the edge of my property. How much longer before some Fed comes along and decides to fine me for living on/near a wetland??

And as far as neighbors ratting me out.... They won’t have a clue what I do. Nor where I keep my assets.
