Within hours of the Supreme Court decision legalizing same-sex marriage, an array of conservatives including the governors of Texas and Louisiana and religious groups called for stronger legal protections for those who want to avoid any involvement in same-sex marriage, like catering a gay wedding or providing school housing to gay couples, based on religious beliefs.
They demanded establishing clear religious exemptions from discrimination laws, tax penalties or other government regulations for individuals, businesses and religious-affiliated institutions wishing to avoid endorsing such marriages.

I’ve posted before that the Catholic Church should conduct weddings “Braveheart style”; a simple ceremony away from the prying eyes of the state. People can opt for whatever legal arrangements they want to make (in terms of property, support payments, etc.).
A black co-worker twenty years ago described how her pastor (some type of Protestant) asked how many in the congregation were “living in sin”; when some “couples” stood up, he pronounced them married so they were no longer sinning. While absurd on its face, I appreciate the simplicity - these people were going to have no state involvement whatsoever in their “marriages”...

No. Americans don’t go hat in hand and ask for our rights to be granted like favors from the government. This bill, by its existence, would acknowledge that government has the authority to punish for thought crimes or religious beliefs. It would just carve out an exemption. It’s wrong.
Start policies that say all couples to be married at this church must be members for a year. membership is defined by 10% tithe, 20 series of biblical marraige courses and vows celebration course prior to marriage.
Love them with the word of God, most will not go through it.

If we change one iota of the process of marrying in churches to dodge the fudge-packers, they have won.
The only thing pastors need to do is whip out the calendar and say ‘Oh, yes I have an opening 17 months from now. If you wish to reserve, we will need a $1000.00 deposit’.

We are witnessing the start of state endorsed religion. Any religion that doesn’t follow the government mandates on homosexuality, abortion or climate change will be hounded out of existence. Of course Islam will be exempted.
There is always Hope——with God. It is necessary that parents take back the minds of their children and NOT allow the State to brainwash them-—and get them OFF the TV-—have them READ-—READ and READ the Great Books. Hard Copies so tactile memory is necessary for integration of brain....NO SCREENS until after 13. (Waldorf policy that the elites use).
All brilliant people READ BOOKS and LOTS of them and parents need to discuss important issues with their children-———it integrates the brain and exercises it, gains great skills, and gives children a chance to reflect and think (TAKES QUIET). The Leftists abuse and kill their kids-—The Christians HAVE to take their children AWAY from the Brainwashers and return to ONLY pre-!930 books. We need to educate our OWN kids-—have the grandparents help or close Christian friends.

There is no Freedom without Virtue-—it is impossible and Aristotle stated that ALL children need virtue habituated and practiced in childhood.
We should have schools like when Ben Franklin had-—after 8 year old and only until 12 and then REAL LIFE apprentices or whatever. 12 year olds in 1800s were way smarter than todays college graduates and they had Virtue and loyalty to family (little divorce and killing babies)..
The current school system is dehumanization ON PURPOSE to create Hitler Youth kids..... (artificial institution for mass conformity)—removal of children from family destroys individuality and autonomy -—who would turn in their parents for the State. All little children need to be read to and learn numbers and letters and reading at home with parents. It is what Lincoln did and Ben Franklin. Removing children from natural family before age 7 is dangerous and destroys the bonding and self-initiative and individualism and true self-esteem which ONLY comes from the family and mastery of Real Life skills.
I guarantee-—school curricula conststs of extremely powerful “operant conditioning” which can flip Good and Evil. WE HAVE to DESTROY their evil system which was set up for total destruction of “Free Will” (Fichte) in our children by evil, humanist, socialist John Dewey-—the father of “modern” education.

Since a majority of voters on November 4, 2008, in their infinite wisdom, declared, via their votes, that they desired a muslim to rule over them, the Constitution has been regulated to the toiler paper rack. This action has been widely cheered on by the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party, a/k/a, the media. Recently, the Republican Party has joined in the affray.
