The definitions of fornication and marriage come from the Bible. Leviticus 18 list 13 prohibited sexual relationships between humans which can never become marriage. They are various forms of incest plus homosexuality. Two other prohibitions are in this chapter: bestiality and uncleanness (sex during menstruation). Notice that the chapter concludes with an explanation that these rules from God are not just for Jews:
Leviticus 18:24-29
Do not defile yourselves with any of these things; for by all these the nations are defiled, which I am casting out before you. For the land is defiled; therefore I visit the punishment of its iniquity upon it, and the land vomits out its inhabitants. You shall therefore keep My statutes and My judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations, either any of your own nation or any stranger who dwells among you (for all these abominations the men of the land have done, who were before you, and thus the land is defiled), lest the land vomit you out also when you defile it, as it vomited out the nations that were before you. For whoever commits any of these abominations, the persons who commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
Such moral imperatives were understood by nature and human conscience as well as being proclaimed by prophets before they were written in God’s word. These are distinct from commands that were uniquely required by God of His chosen earthly people, Israel. God required, among other things, that Israelites not eat unclean animals. Noah was not commanded this, although God did instruct Him to bring seven times as many clean animals on the ark. (It is not clear that Noah knew these animals were clean as opposed to unclean. But Moses described them this way when he wrote the book of Genesis.)
Gentiles are not required to become Jews or abstain from eating unclean animals in order to be saved. There may be benefits from following some or all of the dietary requirements of the Law, but there is not a moral imperative to do so. The same applies to circumcision. However, fornication is a moral imperative that originates from God’s unique design of the Man and Woman in the garden of Eden. He designed them to have a life-long, monogamous relationship which begins at marriage (for their offspring). The proscription against fornication is reiterated in the New Testament continuously. This never changed at any time.

Read a few verses beginning at both Mark 10:6 and Matthew 19:4, it is GOD’s teaching on...marriage.
First of all we should stop using the word 'gay'. They are not gay in the original sense of that word they are troubled people. The original definition of homosexuals was SSAD, i.e. Same Sex Attraction Disorder. They are disordered people and need help not encouragement. But I fear we are well beyond that now. I don't know how we can get back to an "ordered" society. They used to be in a "closet" for a reason, they and everyone else knew that it was a sickness. I pray that America will elect a moral leader that will lead us out of this darkness. Pray hard people. Pray!
