The Donald has two big ones made of solid brass. The rest are just that...professional politicians. They all need their rich sugar daddy donors, and if they wish to stay in the race, they must obey the daddy for the money to keep coming. Trump does not need a sugar daddy.
We are so used to all politicians lying, especially during a campaign, that we can’t even believe a non-politician because he’s running for office.

I like Trump, but he should not have said that Mexicans were ‘rapist and murderers’. He should have just left it at ‘illegal immigration is wrong’ and he’ll stop it if elected. The part about making bad trade deals with Mexico was a nice touch, too. But, yep...his rhetoric was too harsh and he handed his opponents a weapon.
Look, I agree with his sentiment. I admire that he’s not backing down, too. How it became ‘xenophobic’ and ‘mean’ to simply support our national boundaries, I’ll never know. And, I’m certain a man like Trump would fix it. But, if you are going to get into the show, you’ve got to nail the audition.

I don't know about "most of us". It takes two to make a marriage work, and sometimes it doesn't anyway. IIRC he was married 15 years, then 8, now over 10 years and still going. His youngest son was 8 when he divorced the first time, and he had a 7 year old daughter when he divorced the second time. He seems to be a good father based on how his kids turned out. He also admits he didn't spend enough time with them because of business. I don't know who initiated the divorces.
It would be interesting to poll FReepers on the subject of divorce in general. However Ronald Reagan divorced with two young children, and I don't think FReepers held it against him.

Well if he wasn’t so stupid he could have made his points without losing so many things but it’s tough when you’re pretending to be something you’re not to know how to act.
If you spend any time in Mexico you will notice over the past ten or more years a bustling economy where large corporations are thriving. Their interstates are packed with huge trucks hauling goods and all of the big accounting firms are there. New cars on the road side by side with old VW beetles. The point is the people with the new cars and the truckers with good jobs aren’t coming to the US. Its the illiterate and low levels of society streaming across our border. Mexico doesn’t hand out welfare like we do... simple as that. Trump is right

I agree with you on all accounts. My point is he shouldn’t imply that most people coming across the border are murderers and rapist.....with some good ones. It’s factually not true and such comments will be used against him to paint him as a racist....fair or unfair. Yes, we get the worst of what Mexico has to offer in terms of their poor...and some are bad criminals. Mexico’s social safety net is called “America.” It’s sad. It’s so sad how every country in the world has a real immigration system, but somehow we can’t manage it. I get all that. Call illegal immigrants ‘illegal immigrants’ and just leave it at that!!! This is politics!!!
