Turkey 'planning to invade Syria'
The Telegraph ^ | 29 Jun 2015 | Richard Spencer

Turkey has sent shock waves through the Middle East by preparing plans to send troops into Syria for the first time, turning the civil war into an international conflict on Europe’s borders. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has authorised a change in the rules of engagement agreed by the Turkish parliament to allow the army to strike at Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil), as well as the Assad regime, according to local newspapers.

The aim is to establish a buffer zone for refugees and against Isil, but Mr Erdogan has also suggested that the main target of the intervention, if it goes ahead, will be to prevent the emergence of a Kurdish state on Turkey’s doorstep.

BINGO !

Has there been a time when one NATO member attacked another member of NATO ? And would Obama do anything about since he will side with the Muslims ?

If and when Turkey invades Syria expect Russia to come to the aid of Syria.

WWIII is being organized as we speak.

Should have never let Turkey into NATO, so what if the Soviets got them, perhaps it would be Constantinople again.

Interesting.

Russia backs Syria and Greece, Russia offers them financial relief, Greece backs out of NATO ( Russia’s dream that NATO is weakened ) both attack Turkey for Turkey invading Syria.

The USA only gives a token commitment to help Turkey, Iran is even more embolden.

Stock markets around the world in turmoil.

Hmmm. Put in promised to come to the aid of Syria and Iran, but still hasn’t. I wouldn’t rely on their help. Also, never came to the aid of their Slavic brothers over Kosovo.

The 70th week does not start until the confirmation of the covenant dividing Israel.

The 69th week ended when the Messiah was cut off, but not for Himself, for all of us.

It between the 69th week and the 70th week is the Church Age.

Gonna be an interesting year, I think.

How did it get so out oh hand?

Three words: Barack Hussein Obama

Back in 2008 I told a far-left guy I knew that by the end of Obama's first term in office, the U.S. would have troops stationed in more countries than we had at the end of George W. Bush's second, and that there would be a greater number of wars and conflicts in the world in 2012 than there were in 2008.

He scoffed at me then - called me racist, fascist and stupid.

Now he does not say anything to me. But, for a guy who was positively ecstatic about Obama being elected in 2008 he sure seems to be sad, angry and depressed now, in 2015.

I know a guy pretty much like that, too. Also, last time I talked to him was in 2008. He stopped talking to me, too. Which was good. I doubt he’ll ever wake up to reality.

I have to admit I wouldn’t blame Assad for using every thing in his arsenal, if you know what I mean.

Erodgen is enough of a megalomaniac to actually pizz off ISIS - like kicking them out of the hospitals and revoking their donut club weekend passes. I agree with whoever said Turkey is not on the vacation roster this year.

Haven’t been to Iraq, but I have been to a place that smells like your vivid description heh.

I try to avoid those places now.

That’s nice of them.

Question is, what is their intent once they get there? Fight against or WITH ISIS?
