Christie will steal more Bush votes than Cruz votes or Walker votes. Christie entry is good for social conservatives, strategically speaking.

What a farce this is turning out to be for the GOP.

Yes, but I keep seeing references to “American Revolutionary War” rather than “American Revolutionary Compromise” as Christie suggests.

Still waiting for Scott Walker to formally declare his candidacy for POTUS. Currently reading his book, “Unintimidated,” which basically describes his successful battle vs. government employee unions in Wisconsin. It demonstrates that he has guts to fight the left, which is a quality missing in too many elected GOP politicos these days, and also that he can be tough on budget balancing.

I am interested to know more about Mr. Walker. He sure took on the loony left in Wisconsin.

Christie:

“I’m twice the man that any of the other candidates are! Now, where’s the donuts?! Another batch of Krispy Kremes and I’ll be three times the man as the other guys!”

Walker is one of my front runners as well.

In Christie, Bush, and Rubio I have not the slightest interest.

Is this an RNC/GOP record?

I’m pretty sure O’Malley has declared. It’s a testament to his (non-existent) campaign that he seems like he hasn’t declared.

Perhaps. There are always dozens of candidates on the New Hampshire primary ballot, for example. This year we may have a record number of “serious” candidates, although what makes one a serious candidate is debatable..

Promising a third Obama term...

Kind of get the feeling from listening to Christie's speech today, blasting both Obama and the Republicans, that he might consider a run as a third party candidate, where his practical aim would be to assist the 'Rat candidate in the general election. He seems to have an ego as big as his torso, so I wouldn't put it past him.

Chris Christie is responsible for “climate change”, he’s disrupting Earth’s gravitational field. We need to send him off into space.

Space: The final frontier.

Who isn’t running on the GOP side?

Jelly Donuts running is a non-starter...unless he runs 3rd party. Remember, for all of the accolades BJ Clinton gets, he won both elections with <50% of the vote and had a straw candidate running a 3rd party campaign.

Best question all day.

Hot dang! Now there's a candidate I could get behind.

Mind you, it's a helluva hike. Different zip code.
