The Blaze is reporting that a section of a handbook entitled "MEdia" (yes, with the capitalization and all) is still listing the flaming liberal website Media Matters for America as a reputable source for fact-checking media stories. Media Matters is listed alongside Snopes, which also fact-checks rumors and urban legends and it widely accepted as a truly unbiased source (Media Matters... eh, not so much) -

The funny thing is that The Blaze reported this back in 2012 after Christy Volanski noticed the reference in her daughter's guidebook and alerted the media. The Girl Scouts responded by saying they would reprint the handbook and remove the reference to Media Matters.

Snopes is just a little more clever about spinning their lies than is Media Matters. Snopes is run by a lefty couple which only twists the h3ll out of the truth instead of lies outright.

I heard a commercial by a group raising money for the GSA. Seems a well heeled donor offered them $100,000 donation, but wanted to know if they were going to keep Trannies out. The Girl Scouts refused the money, and is now using the story to gin up support from “other” sources. They will NOT be told to keep out 13 year old trannies. Anyone still giving time and money to these insane people running them?

There is some speculation that there was no such donation. That the girl scouts CEO made up the story about this donation to garner sympathy and donations.
