A Girl Scouts troop in the state of Washington has returned a $100,000 donation because it came with the caveat that it could not be used to support transgender scouts.
In an interview Tuesday, Megan Ferland, CEO of the Girls Scouts of Western Washington, said, "Girl Scouts is for every girl, and that is every girl regardless of race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion. Every girl is every girl."
This includes boys who think they're girls. The Girl Scouts claim their policy is one of "inclusivity," and they welcome transgender scouts, and in fact have several such members in their troop.

Who didn’t see that coming. I agree with several FReepers who thought the original story of the donation with restrictions, and repayment of the donation, was bogus.

Hated their crappy cookies anyway. If that’s all they’re good for any more, they’re just wasting oxygen.
I live in Washington state but won’t after I retire.
Hope there’s still somewhere to escape this madness.

If I was a HS aged kid, I would join the Girl Scouts and say I am transgendered and defy them to not let me in.
By “kid” I mean boy.

They said they will not identify the anonymous donor who out conditions on the donation. Why not? Liberal LGBT activists think.nothing of violating privacy of people.who worked on ballot initiatives to define marriage. Why wouldn’t they out this person as a bigot??? This story sounds like a made up story someone planted in the media.
And then the climax is how they ended up raising much more than the $100k returned donation. There too, this is too convenient falling inine with the storyline of how their version of love overcomes hatred of transgendered girls and all that.
