Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney attacked real estate mogul and 2016 GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump on Saturday, telling a CNN reporter he thinks Trump’s remarks on illegal immigrants were a “severe error.”

“Do you think Donald Trump’s comments on Mexicans have hurt the Republican Party?” a reporter asked Romney in video carried on CNN on Saturday.

“Yes, I think he made a severe error in saying what he did about Mexican-Americans,” Romney replied. “And it’s unfortunate.”

“Do you think the candidates should speak up about that?” the reporter followed up.

“I think a number of them have,” Romney replied.

I’d probably mention Larry, Moe, and Curly, but that would be an insult since even their characters were smarter than these three.

(someone else brought this up)

What Trump said was not about Mexican-Americans. It is about Mexicans who are in the US illegally!

First candidate who says he will issue a pardon to the Christian bakers in Oregon will win the nomination. All you single issue zealots and party hacks don’t understand how much we hate political correctness, hatred of political correctness beyond measure.

Except Trump wasn’t speaking about Mexican Americans, he was speaking about illegal Mexicans in America.

Has there been a time EVER, when Rat Romney did not help Obama?

Romney, working FOR Obama in 2008

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers…
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide…
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."

The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"I’m told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palin’s people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romney’s former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
… aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.

"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off ….hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"

"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"

"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"

"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"

"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"

Like Trump or not he is being very effective.
The MSM, LIBS, GOPe ALL don’t like him so he must be doing something right.

Would ‘love’ to see him, John Bolton and Sarah Palin start attacking as a team...It will keep the idiots at bay while we can go out and chose a proper candidate - not one hand picked by Rove and that other bunch of idiots that are the ‘cause’ of ‘US’ not having a much larger number of C’s in office.

Trump today is somewhat like Rush was in his early years. Remember when Rush would say it rained yesterday ‘they’ would find scores of people to find out where it didn’t rain and then come back and tell US that Rush was full of it...

I liked big, Fat Rush, who was doing fine till he started ‘falling’ in love again and he ended up under the ‘corporate thumb’...he was saying how the other day his ‘bosses’ (advisors) wouldn’t let him work Fri and force him to take vacations....

Do you think Donald Trump’s comments on Mexicans have hurt the Republican Party?”

Even the question is a lie and fraud. And these people answered it without any thought, as if it were a legitimate question.

I remember an interview with Romney and how they asked him what he regretted most about his losing his run for President in 2012. He said he regretted not reaching out to the Latinos more. BINGO! That should tell all of us who they represent. Not America by any means.

You Romney haters are a real sick bunch. But then I understand where you are coming from. Rather have King Obama than Romney in 2012. And it shows your child like mentality.
