So you don’t think that homosexuality should be illegal? Or do you? And what should the punishment be? Just please clarify your position on the legality and punishment.

Why shouldn't it be illegal? It was until recently.

Public health risks are often banned and there are few practices that are more dangerous than sodomy.

Must take up, oh....2,000 square feet or so ......

That's why I recently bought a new home on 8.5 acres, I might even build "Grand Inquisitor Court" to display everything.

How about denying them the special rights and privileges they are now afforded?

How about denying them the right to rip apart the very fabric that made America great as Christians are now being persecuted as gay rights are being elevated?

Locking ‘em up works for me.

Christians who support fag marriage have been duped ........... into thinking they fit the definition of Christian in the first place.

Matt 7:21-23: Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

I don’t think wagglebee is advocating killing homosexuals. However, he did support his argument about the dangers inherent in homosexual practice by pointing out that it has been a capital offense in the past.

Now, I have no doubt that the presence of homosexuality makes the culture more dangerous. There really are huge issues of infection and transmissibility of disease.

Last year I saw a ‘round table’ discussion with a bunch of gay men discussing monogamy. ONE guy said that he and his partner were strictly monogamous. The rest said that they *considered* themselves monogamous - and they defined that on appropriate ways to cheat with others without causing offense to their partner. Things like, “No cuddling,” or “No laughing together - no real intimacy. Just sex,” or “Don’t have sex with the same person more than once.”

My favorite was the limitation on numbers. One guy thought that more than ten extra partners a year was a bit much.

They felt that it was their absolute right to have marriage and to have all the sex they wanted.

There is no call for true monogamy in the gay community. So society receives NO benefit from gay marriage - IE: reduced disease.

I’ll say it again: Make infidelity a CRIMINAL offense (with jail time) and gays will snub the institution.

Society supports marriage because society gets a benefit from monogamous couples. We get the protection and provision of women and children. We have greater numbers of functional children raised into law-abiding, successful adults. We don’t spread disease. We have longer lifespans and even less cancer.

We save society MONEY. That’s why we get tax breaks and spousal benefits.

Gays will save us NOTHING.

My comments yesterday (and prior days) on other threads - people who call themselves Christians and/or think of themselves as Christians, do so for many reasons, usually because of flawed thinking and definitely not true definitions in the bible but anyone who supports "homosexual anything" is not a Christian - period!

Please check out post 67.

There are very practical reasons to maintain the institution of marriage.

It is not unreasonable to believe that HIV would have either been nearly eliminated or largely contained but for the licentiousness of homosexuals.

“Now, I have no doubt that the presence of homosexuality makes the culture more dangerous”

Not to mention the moral and cultural decay, which over time is far more dangerous to society.

I’m a Conservative/Libertarian who fully understands how the institution of marriage benefits society in very practical ways. (There’s a reason why every society on earth has some form of marriage and always has.)

We need it - just as we need laws that prevent theft and murder. Even if it wasn’t important to religion, it would still be vital to the nation.

Look at how well the inner cities are doing without husbands and fathers.

...”anyone who supports “homosexual anything” is not a Christian - period!”....
I agree.. God speaks absolutely what it is to Him....and abomination...and those who support are equally so.

Proverbs 17:15 ....”He who ‘justifies the wicked’ and he who condemns the righteous are both alike an abomination to the Lord.

Marie, there is no doubt in my mind that the greatest haters of women have been liberals, with their defense of pornographers, their defense of prostitution, and their defense of homosexuality.

They want women in the background, families out of the way, so they can practice their perversions without regard to any morality that turns the heart of men toward women and children.

The Scotus has made another evil anti-woman decision that ranks alongside their attack on women through allowing abortion. They cut out their babies first, and now they’ve started down the road to cutting women off from the security of families and the huge, life-altering prominence of the role of mother.

“So you want to kill them. That’s what I thought.”

I’m missing the post where Wagglebee advocated for killing homos. Can you point out exactly where you’re getting that idea from.

Amen to your Proverbs quote.

My comments in the past regarding people who call or think of themselves as Christians as well as many of our churches and church leaders who have refused to tell the truth about the scriptures (who will be held accountable, James 3:1), yesterday or in the past days seemed to strike a light under some folk on FR accusing me of slamming various denominations, when I was not.

We are told that no one is without excuse of knowing the truth, Romans 1:20, yet there are still folks continuing to think of themselves as Christians when they are no such thing - but they'd rather not know, apparently.
