Capehart, it should be noted, jumped all over the Mike Brown/Ferguson “hands up don’t shoot” false narrative early on.
He actually wrote an amusing piece apologizing for that after the false narrative was proven to be demonstrably false by three different investigations. His cop-out was especially precious; he tried to draw a distinction between the Obama DoJ investigation and the earlier Grand Jury and State ones. Despite the fact that the DoJ investigation pretty much parroted and validated them as accurate.

Simple things like “Bush lied, people died” which even the MSM have stated and used, is completely stupid considering that Congress, including Democrats, voted for and voiced the same concerns leading up to the vote for the use of force.
