And don’t forget: the GOP will stop Obama! That’s what they told us — back when they wanted our votes.

You are right. The unspoken truth is, many rank and file people of all stripes are against the invasion.

Ya’ll look up a movie called “Brewsters Millions” with Richard Pryor. Pryor runs a campaign called “none of the above”. Thats Trump, none of the above!

Trump wants to restore economic vitality, enforce immigration laws, and regain our lost respect around the world. He may be brash but that’s what its going to take to turn things around. We need a new sheriff in town to run out the political outlaws, rustlers, and corrupt officials. :)

This demonstrates the desperation for a strong leader.

Someone who doesn’t cave and cry and apologize for saying something that isn’t politically correct.

Someone who has the spine to call a spade a spade and not be a mealy-mouthed coward.

Someone who will stand up to enemies rather than sit down and “talk” to them....while they’re laughing at the stupidity of the weak.

Yes! And I hope the others see what's happening here and follow the Donald's lead.

Course the Donald has nothing to lose - nobody thought he'd even be a ripple in the polls.

We could well have an open convention.

Easily.

Rumor is Jeb will come out against sanctuary cities tomorrow, even though he funded and defended them as Governor of Florida.

Tuesday on Fox News Channel’s “Your World with Neil Cavuto,” business mogul Donald Trump addressed a possible Jeb Bush 2016 presidential run by saying, “I’ve had it with the Bushes,” adding “I am not a fan of the Bush group.”

Trump said, “I’ve had it with the Bushes. I’m not a fan of the job that his brother did at all. I think his brother was a terrible president … Beyond Obama. Obama’s been a terrible president. But bush likewise was a terrible president and Bush gave us Obama and Bush gave us Justice Roberts, who made Obamacare possible because frankly Obamacare could have been ended if Bush’s appointment voted against it which everybody says he should have and every legal scholar said he should have. While he was appointed by Bush, and a lot of bad things happened under Bush including total destabilization, virtually of the world. Now, Obama’s been no better. He’s probably been worse. But we have two beauties there. I am not a fan of the Bush group.”

Not surprised.

My fear is in the debates, these amnesty pimps will pile on Trumps
immigration comments and follow up with a LIE about there own
past positions.

Just as you mentioned the rumor about Jeb flip flopping.

What else can these clowns do when Cruz and Trump corner them on
immigration?
I would be very surprised if they defend their past positions.

From PPP website:

http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/main/2015/07/trump-leads-gop-field-in-north-carolina.html

Trump leads GOP field in North Carolina

snip
All of the general election match ups in North Carolina are close with Clinton
trailing 5 of the Republican hopefuls, leading 4 of them, and tied with one.

The strongest GOP hopefuls for the general election, leading Clinton by 4,
are Mike Huckabee at 49/45 and Scott Walker at 47/43. Ben Carson leads her by 3
at 47/44, and Marco Rubio and Rand Paul each have 1 point leads at 47/46 and
46/45 respectively.

The weakest Republicans in the state are Donald Trump and Chris Christie who each
trail Clinton by 3 points at 47/44 and 46/43 respectively. Also trailing Clinton
are Jeb Bush at 45/43 and Ted Cruz at 47/46. Clinton’s tie comes with Carly Fiorina at 45%.

Clinton continues to be far stronger as a general election candidate than any other
potential Democratic hopeful. Bernie Sanders would trail Scott Walker by 8 points
at 43/35, Jim Webb by 13 points at 44/31, Lincoln Chafee by 14 points at 43/29,
and Martin O’Malley by 16 points at 45/29.

GOP wants a path for a flood of Democrat voters so that they never have to lead again.

This is great news for the anti Bush folks and also the Cruz, Walker, Rubio folks.....let Trump get rid of Bush then let conservatives decide who to lead the party. Trump is being useful,,,but will never get the nom.

No, we need *more* RINOs and *fewer* conservatives in the race. Let the RINOs split their votes among several candidates for a change, while we coalesce around one conservative (Cruz!).

That's how Romney did it. Picked up state after state because we conservatives were dividing our votes among four, then three, then two candidates. By the time Newt was the only one left standing, Romney's lead was too overwhelming.
