President Trump' May Not Be So Far-Fetched - And the Polls Scare the Establishment to death
Fox News ^ | July 10, 2015 | Geoff Earle

WASHINGTON — Republicans who started off viewing Donald Trump as an amusing sideshow are starting to fret that the real-estate billionaire is becoming the main event.

Since he defied skeptics and launched his presidential bid last month, Trump has rocketed in the polls, dominated media coverage and helped steer the debate on issues.

“I don’t know that he even knows how far he takes this,” former New York GOP Rep. Thomas Reynolds, who is close to GOP candidate and ex-Gov. George Pataki, told The Post. “He has the wherewithal . . . He has put together a pretty wholesale ground force in New Hampshire, and that has to be taken seriously.”

We are part of a secret canal working against the US… Conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world government

We like what Trump is saying, and that is why he is saying it, not because he believes it.

We know enough about Trump from his past dalliances to know that we cannot pay spit to what he says.

He is a massive Clinton supporter, both past and present, with huge donations to their illegal “foundation” to keep their dirty work alive.

He’ll say whatever he has to say to keep a true conservative from getting on the GOP ballot.

Freerepublic has always been a complete whore as to elections. Give her a few sweet words and she swoons.

We need to acquire a spine on this!

No matter if he BS's like the rest. This time he has stuck a chord and aroused the nation like I haven't seen in a long time. That doesn't mean we will blindly follow him off the cliff, but he is serving a useful purpose for now.

Later on, we'll see.

He wants to cut the tax rate so that companies will bring money back on shore instead of parking overseas. He wants to get rid of Ocare (which will always help). He wants to cut federal red tape and EPA restrictions

To do what? Fire civil servants? Won’t happen

If on the other hand you mean deal with the bureaucracy and congress....granted. I don’t trust Trump. He is at heart a sycophant. He is a HUGE supporter of the LGBT community and until just this year approved of O and dims and all they were doing

“The rink was closed in 1980 for an announced 2 1/2 years of renovations. When the problem-plagued work was not completed by the city by 1986, Donald Trump persuaded Mayor Ed Koch to let him complete the work and he completed the renovations in three months to have it open by the end of the year. Koch initially objected to Trump’s proposal when Trump offered to pay for the renovations himself with the stipulation that he be allowed to run the venue and an adjacent restaurant and use the profits to recoup his costs. Public pressure prompted Mayor Koch to reverse his position.”

I am sure your inforamtion is correct, however Bush had 8 years in office. I will bet you if Trump gets elected, the Wall gets built in his first term. Trump has a record of finishing projects sooner than estimates.

Excellent synthesis of Nick’s posts. He spams every Trump post repeating the same basic theme. I told him so much hate is not good for his brain. It will release too many bad chemicals in brain and could lead to cancer.

He won’t divulge his preferred candidate either. Which leads me to believe, he is a Jeb Bush supporter. Because which candidate is attacking Bush the most? Trump!

Government is not the solution, Government is the problem as Reagan said.

I’m sure if Trump can build up an empire, he can delegate like Reagan did and do a good job.

Attrition will reduce federal work force much easier than mass firings. Governor Jindal achieved massive reductions in state employees via attrition.

I thought so too, but I’m not buying that anymore.

Did you actually watch his speech in Phoenix yesterday?

If you watch the whole thing and still come back thinking he’s a fraud, at least you’ll have earned the right to say so.

Yeah, that must be why he so effectively knocks Bush and Rubio—because the Establishment want him to.
