Fiorina: Trump tapping into an ‘anger’
The Hill ^ | 07/12/2015 | Kyle Balluck

Carly Fiorina said in an interview Sunday that fellow GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump is “tapping into an anger that I hear every day.”

“People are angry that a commonsense thing like securing the border or ending sanctuary cities is somehow considered extreme,” she told ABC’s “This Week.” “It's not extreme, it's commonsense. We need to secure the border.”

“People are also angry at a professional political class of both parties that talks a good game, gives good speeches, but somehow nothing ever really changes,” she added. “And people are angry as well at a double standard in the media.”

Fiorina said she had not been asked a “single question” about Trump’s comments on immigration during six days in New Hampshire.

Fiorina also blasted Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton during the ABC interview, saying the former secretary of State’s polices create more income inequality.

“Why? Because bigger government creates crony capitalism,” she said. “When you have a 70,000 page tax code, you've got to be very wealthy, very powerful, very well connected to dig your way through that tax code. … I will continue to point out … the fact that every policy she is pursuing will make income inequality worse, not better, crony capitalism even worse, not better. “

Clinton is scheduled to deliver a major economic policy speech in New York on Monday, when she is expected to call for a boost to the stagnating incomes of middle-class families.

Negative Carly. Trump is tapping into the frustration of those that handed Congress to the GOP after campaigning on securing the border, repealing Obamacare, etc…and have done nothing but give Obama his trade deal. THAT is why Trump is doing so well.

Yep. Carly should be thanking Trump for helping her bring out her
recent, very recent, inner anger about immigration.

No, Carly we LIKE being turned into a third world cess pool, being slaves to the state to support the cess pool, actually, in some cases, getting murdered by the cess pool makers and then being told by the ruling class we better LIKE IT too.

Nah, not angry.

Funny you say that. One guy stood alone from the protestors yesterday and belittled and yelled at us. He kept saying we were "too weak to even do our own lawns".

Here is what the GOP is for:

1) Preserving and expanding Obamacare so as to off load health care costs to the U.S. Tax Payer.

2) Lower Corporate tax rates and subsidies while increasing tax rates for the middle class to fund government

3) Expand welfare, subsidies, and benefits for the underclass to keep them passive

4) Expand welfare, subsidies, and benefits for illegal aliens to continue to make them cost effective for big business

5) Increase the minimum wage to allow government workers and favored unions to receive wage increases tied to the minimum wage while turning a blind to private employers hiring illegal aliens under the table since such wages for entry level jobs are unaffordable for most small business owners.

6) Increase visas for lower wage workers as well as opening the borders to illegals to adjust wage conditions to acceptable rates.Once American workers start to feel the pinch they'll start working for the correct wages in the new economy.

7) Work together with Democrats on common objectives

8) Drive Christians,Patriots,Conservatives and other undesirable Tea Party types from the political process using the media, tax code, lawfare, education, and social conditioning to eliminate these obstructionist from interfering with readjusting the U.S. to a more rational business and governing model.

9) Reform the education system to produce compliant workers able to work yet not question their superiors in either government or employment.

10)Eliminate private vehicles so travel can be monitored and controlled. Just say we're helping the environment and cutting green house emissions.

11) Eliminate private housing so people can be warehoused together and more closely monitored and controlled.

12) Work with the Left and advance the alliance of Big Government and Big Business for the benefit of both set of elites.

This is your real GOP agenda.

Carly it is always wise to check the wind first before you find yourself pissing into it, turning around after your all wet stills leaves an overwhelming stench.

Really don’t get Carly’s appeal she’s a social liberal on marriage and was a lousy CEO. I think like Ben Carson some conservatives get into identity politics and desire to elect a minority of woman just for the sake of doing it.

yep.

Freedom, liberty in America rests on a razors edge.

IMHO, it all comes down to “who do you trust?”

Government or Individuals?

Liberals don’t trust individuals simply because they don’t trust themselves.

Conservatives tend to trust individuals because we believe that everybody possesses objective morality.

Liberals reject objective morality and they call themselves “skeptics”, “reasoned”, “enlightened”.

A Trump/Fiorina ticket. Now that would have some appeal. Two outsiders that have been successful on their own in the private sector. Both of them tough executives who are not "kick the can down the street" types.

This could be what we need. I don't think the mess we are in can be fixed by career politicians.

Donald Trump is “tapping into an anger that I hear every day.”

She hears it, but doesn't connect with it. That's what I want in a representative. /s.

If you aren't angry Carly, you ain't paying attention, or you're dumb as a rock.

I like what Trump is doing, blowing the Uniparty to smithereens, but I am beginning to have 1992/1996 deja vu all over again.

I hope The Donald isn't just a Hillary plant who will run as a third party to split the conservative vote ala Ross Perot.

We’re angry at the perfidy of our elected officials who care more about foreign nationals who broke into our country than they do about the citizens.

Citizens are being killed by illegal aliens and the only answer Yeb Bush, Rubberio and the rest have is for us to legalize the killers.

I don’t believe Carly for a minute. She’s finally felt on her finger the anger that has been blowing like a gale force wind since Bush said, “See ya at the signin”, referring to the 2006 McCain/Kennedy amnesty.

They just don’t care. They’d rather have Hillary as POTUS than a conservative. They’re all part of the same team.
