Our country is angry, fearful, and tired. Tired in particular, of being deliberately divided by Barack Obama and his minions.
Trump is angry when he speaks of the folly of current immigration policies.
Trump seems truly fearful for our country.
Thus, he connects. Others have said the same things he is saying, Trump says them while matching the emotions of those who hear him speak.

Trump is just fine, Governor Haley. He is a big boy and can speak for himself since we still have some freedom of speech left. It is time to stop cowering in the corner. The truth needs to be plainly spoken and not clothed in rhetoric so deep that the common person cannot understand the point. Trump probably will not be President but he is lifting the scales from our eyes so that we can see much better what others want to hide.
