You’re giving debates far too much credit for influencing elections.

The Entitlement Army/Crony Capitalists/Govt Employees/Union Members want gravy and could care less about debate performances.

The only way to beat Shrillary is to give her the Rosie ODonnell ghetto beatdown. Trump’s response was perfect.

The thing about Trump is that in business, a leader may provide direction and make the tie-breaking decisions, but he knows he won't last long if he continues to make wrong decisions. Typically then, the leader takes advice from a number of sources as part of making decisions, and learns to change course quickly if the bottom line is badly affected.

Provided that Trump's bottom line remains a healthy economy and we the people having life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, he can do as he has always done and amend his course to meet the needs of the day, probably much quicker than a politico with a dozen lobbyists' hands in his pockets at all times. While he has never expressed a typical social conservative line, he is certainly a conservative when it comes to having a healthy free market capitalist environment, without which we have been unable, under Obama and the wealthy dotcom billionaire leftists, to have any form of widespread public social conservatism. Far from it. The liberals have taken away even the foundation of liberty, the family.

There is, never has been and never will be any perfect candidate nor perfect conservative. Reagan as governor unleashed two of the most destructive acts on this country since the civil war: abortion and no-fault divorce. He regretted them later, but there can never be a perfect leader who makes no mistakes nor never has to change course from time to time.

Right now we need a leader with the skills to restore the economy, as long as he will not sell out the entire country to do so. Trump has made this point repeatedly: that our present leaders have been selling us out to every foreign nation who wants a piece of us. I think he may be able to address these treacheries effectively. I am open to his continuing in the race and hope he does not flame out.

Trump continues to carry the water that the GOPe doesn’t have the strength to lift on its own.

Why are OTHER politicians unable to speak this way???? Why??? Are they being blackmailed, threatened with death? What the hell is wrong with everyone. Tell these people off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have often wondered the same thing.

Some are, but most are just on the take in a major league way.

I suppose that all the new congressmen and senators get a talk about if they play ball, they will get some huge offshore account funded.

To get it, they have to respond moment-to-moment and vote by vote to the head honcho running the show (maybe Soros).

If they were to ever let loose with a 'Trumpism', they would lose it all.

This sort of model of corruption is the only one that makes any sense to me.

It's the only way that you would get almost every eGOP person to dance to the Rats' every tune.

Professional politicians can't say the truth. They're owned bought and paid for. It's why they act and look like a bunch of middle aged children playing dress up, always smiling so they look like nice children. They have to please everyone. It goes along with their sunshine and lollypop tone.

They must please everyone...because they might disenfranchise some valuable votes or upset those who own them.

These people have embarrassed and bankrupted America and brought it to the brink.

Much as I like his response Trump isn’t yet at the level of campaign vitriol common during the 19th century. If he gets there THAT will be “epic”

Yet, in 2008 and 2012 that was the expectation.

Since the candidates didn’t check all the boxes, the True Believers elected obozo through their non votes.

Thank You Very Much True Believers.

When Iran nukes Tel Aviv in 3 or 4 years you can again pat yourselves on the back for not voting for them damn RINOs.

Elections have consequences.
