Request for protective order in Freddie Gray case (in Baltimore) denied
Baltimore Sun ^ | July 21, 2015 | Colin Campbell

A judge has denied the request of State's Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby to keep attorneys in the Freddie Case from publicizing evidence before the trial.

Mosby, who is prosecuting six police officers in Gray's death, wanted a court hearing to argue for a protective order that would bar the release of any evidence — or, if the officers' attorneys agreed, to post all of it online.

Mosby said she was concerned that the defense attorneys would leak only evidence that supported their clients' defense, jeopardizing the ability to conduct a fair trial.

It's not fair ... just because this affirmative action poster child has been trying to play the media like a cheap violin in order to guarantee that the defendants don't get a fair trial doesn't mean that the other side should get a chance to demonstrate how biased and incompetent she is!

"Mosby said she was concerned that the defense attorneys would leak only evidence that supported their clients' defense, jeopardizing the ability to conduct a fair trial."

I wonder if the judge hurt himself laughing at this statement.

Obviously that tactic is reserved for the Prosecution.

“This pathetic poseur is in way over her head.”

Maybe she should head down to Waco, TX and “help” their “Mexican” DA with his mess!

Both Baltimore and Waco are not going to turn out well for these “minority” legal eagles.

"Mosby said she was concerned that the defense attorneys would leak only evidence that supported their clients' defense..."

A: That's human nature.

B: She's doing the exact same thing but she's on the 'right' side so it's OK if she even realizes it.

Well, apparently she at least managed to find the correct court to file her order in.

That’s progress. Right?

Reminds me of Obama who was purported to be a “Constitutional Law Professor”.

If this case wasn’t so serious I’d say Mosby is a joke but she’s not a laughing matter, she’s in office because of affirmative action and that’s a dead serious matter.

“No crime was committed by Freddie Gray,” Mosby said to cheers, adding that the investigation is ongoing.

“To the people of Baltimore and the demonstrators across America: I heard your call for “no justice, no peace.” Your peace is sincerely needed as I work to deliver justice on behalf of this young man.

“To the youth of this city: I will seek justice on your behalf. This is a moment. This is your moment. Let’s ensure that we have peaceful and productive rallies that will develop structural and systemic changes for generations to come. You’re at the forefront of this cause. As young people, our time is now.”
