OK, you are entitled to you opinion.
In my opinion, it was extremely effective method.
For one, it proved Senator Graham had called Trump
for favors and given him personal phone number.
And if Trump would have called Graham a jackass in return, that would have NOT been classy. Telling the story behind the phone number was the best way to deal with a desperate candidate like Graham who initiated the fight without provocation.

I seem to remember the local media of a town in NY that published the addresses of all the gun owners. And who was that black celebrity that gave out the wrong address of some private citizen for some issue? The left does it all the flipping time!

Graham gave Trump his number when he was begging for money. After calling Trump a jackass, the Donald decided to punk the weasel by giving out his number to his SC constituents. So Linda gets a new phone and this time it will be a smartphone something he had never owned before. Graham is not a big supporter of privacy when it comes to NSA collecting data.
How would Trump like it? He would turn it around as Graham did. And good on him.
We need something amusing in these serious, troubling times.
Which I find odd. I'm a fan somewhat of the Donald but I think that was in poor taste. I voted no, not okay and was surprised to see I was in the minority.

Trump let it distract from more important things but gained a crap load of attention. So, for Trump I don’t see negatives.

What Trump did was not “punking th wesael” so to speak.
He played down to Graham.
I think it shows he has a thin skin.
The only difference is that now straight people know his phone number, too. Big deal.
I know I'd like having a president with balls that big. The Donald really is making alot of big-game moves right out of the gate. I think he means to win this.
