GOP ELITES PLOT TO BAR FRONTRUNNER TRUMP FROM DEBATE
Breitbart.com ^ | 7-23-2015 | JOHN NOLTE

As if we need more proof of how tone deaf and self-destructive GOP elites can be towards their most reliable voters, the New York Times reports that at a weekend meeting of the Republican Governors Association there was an attempt by some “donors and operatives” to come up with a plan to bar current Republican frontrunner Donald Trump from the presidential debates.

****************

The Republican Party has lost the popular vote in 4 of the last 5 presidential elections. The only election won was the re-election of a sitting president (Bush in ’04) during a time of war. Not only are these geniuses still in charge, these geniuses seem to believe that disenfranchising 25% of Republican primary voters (Trump’s support in the most recent national poll) through elite shenanigans is a smart strategy.

It looks like these “donors and operatives” would rather see a Dem elected than a conservative Republican.

The GOP doesn't care if they win, the Dems are doing the job for them. Either way.
Just look at the job McConnell and Boehner are doing for reference and proof.

The GOP is afraid that Trump is going to expose them for the invertebrates they are. They are terrified of this man.

Maybe Trump should run as an independent. I think I recall independent Gary Johnson being allowed to share the stage during the GOP Debates.

If they want to bar him from the debate, I suggest he show up anyway and make them physically keep him out.

In reality, because of the merger of the Republican and Democrat Parties, what was the Republican Party’s voting base has become a liability to them. They are desperately searching for a way to make them go away.

That’s a new level of stupid.

Any candidate with a smidgen of common sense should demand an end to that nonsense. Do the have any idea how high the ratings for the debate will be if trump is there as opposed to how low they’ll be if he isn’t?

It looks like these “donors and operatives” would rather see a Dem elected than a conservative Republican.

What do these donors and operatives want? It's not change or reform, for the good of the country. They want a situation where they, the donors, keep their power and influence. So a Dem is preferred over a true conservative.

And a Dem is most certainly preferred over a uncontrollable person such as Trump.

Sorry. I stand corrected. Gary Johnson is a libertarian not independent. But the point still stands.
