GOP ELITES PLOT TO BAR FRONTRUNNER TRUMP FROM DEBATE
Breitbart.com ^ | 7-23-2015 | JOHN NOLTE

Posted on 07/23/2015 8:33:54 AM PDT by servo1969

As if we need more proof of how tone deaf and self-destructive GOP elites can be towards their most reliable voters, the New York Times reports that at a weekend meeting of the Republican Governors Association there was an attempt by some “donors and operatives” to come up with a plan to bar current Republican frontrunner Donald Trump from the presidential debates.

****************

The Republican Party has lost the popular vote in 4 of the last 5 presidential elections. The only election won was the re-election of a sitting president (Bush in ’04) during a time of war. Not only are these geniuses still in charge, these geniuses seem to believe that disenfranchising 25% of Republican primary voters (Trump’s support in the most recent national poll) through elite shenanigans is a smart strategy.

W/ Donald at the top of the polls, other candidates are reacting unfavorably:

Hillary is ordering double-duty Depends.

Bernie Sanders is burning copies of Das Kapital.

Lindsey Graham is having fainting spells.

Chris Chrisie is wasting his lapband w/ compulsive eating.

Jeb is erasing his name from the book "Crown Princes of US Politics."

George Pataki is up in Dannemora looking for an escape route.

And.....John McCain and Mitch McConnel are GOPeeing all over the Senate.

Self aggrandized, elitist, country clubbers funded by the Chamber of Commerce and the cheap labor lobby. They are in their own culture bubble and are just fine with it. The great unwashed just have to be dealt with on an election cycle basis.

The Establishment does not understand that the popular anger that is fueling Trump’s support could easily become an insurrection.

Politicians are all controlled by lobbyists. They lie and pander to voters and then do what the big money donors and lobbyists want them to do

Trump is not a politician but a very successful billionaire businessman.

Trump is pro American and wants to save this country .

he’s not desperate for money as all of these politicians are

Only Trump figured out that illegals and China are the top 2 main problems hurting America. the other politicians instead voted and pushed for the Obama trade agenda that also deceptively contains amnesty and massive immigration of 3rd world workers to take the jobs of Americans (”trade in services” would allow the importation of millions of 3rd world workers from any occupation into the USA).

Only Trump can save America. I had lost all hope as politicians for the last 120 years have ruined the U.S. . Now my only hope is that Trump wins. The news media will try to palinize Trump to get him to quit or go 3rd party. the news media want Jeb Bush vs Hillary and Hillary to win. the Media imposed Obama on us. don’t let the media win again.

In reality, because of the merger of the Republican and Democrat Parties, what was the Republican Party’s voting base has become a liability to them. They are desperately searching for a way to make them go away.

No doubt! It's obvious now that they consider us expendable !

There is truth in what you say. I’m not sure, however, that all of it can be ascribed to Trump as savior.

To me, he is extremely useful in bringing illegal aliens and their ills against this country to the light of day in a way that Democrats, establishment RINOs and media cannot dispute. Further, his stance and success is forcing those supposedly on the side against Democrats to reveal their true colors, OR reveal themselves as the sniveling, quisling equivocating fence sitters they really are - waiting for the prevailing winds of final opinion to blow their way.

I like what he does, for now. I am not going to vote for him as long as I have Cruz as an alternative. We’ll just have to see if this single-issue pony has more than just one leg.

Joke will be on those donors when the Dems finally elect Bernie or the Fake Indian. I for sure won’t be answering their 911 calls.

If they don’t treat Mr. Trump fairly, I will follow him to a third party. I also think any Conservative should do so too. Mr. Trump is taking the heat for all.

Trump has also made China an issue. Why haven’t other politicians spoken out against China? because they are ALL owned by China. Who has all the money? Who makes everything? China

43% of registered voters are Independents, that is a very high number which clearly demonstrates the disgust many people have for the two major parties.

They know Trump will dominate these debates. Cruz knows it too and has been very supportive of The Donald. I see a Trump Cruz ticket in the works.

If the GOPe are able to keep Trump out of the debate, he and Cruz (and whoever else wants to break away from the GOPe pack) should stage their own debate at the same exact time.

Let's see which debate gets the most ratings.
