Report: Officials seek criminal probe of Hillary Clinton e-mail account
Washington Post ^ | 7/24/15 | Fred Barbash

Two inspectors general have asked the Justice Department to launch a criminal investigation into whether Hillary Clinton mishandled sensitive information through her private e-mail account, according to the New York Times.

The Times, citing unnamed “senior government officials,” said Thursday night that the requests had come from the inspectors general for the State Department and intelligence agencies. They concluded that Clinton’s private account contained “hundreds of potentially classified emails,” according to the Times.

The Department of Justice has made no decision on whether to comply with the requests, the paper said.

The libs on Morning Joe this AM say Zippy is torn on this issue. He doesn’t like the Hag but thinks she will preserve OCare when crowned. She will be exonerated, per White Hut orders.

This could end up being a way for the State Department not to have to comment to the press, should they actually do their job, through the investigation. "Sorry, we cannot comment on an ongoing criminal investigation."

On the other hand, the Clinton Crime family cannot be happy to have this on YAHOO.COM, MSN.COM, NYT, Washington Post, BostonGlobe, etc. Watch and see if Biden feels he "must" get in the race.

Another “dog and pony” show for the masses!

This is so stupid it almost amounts to look and watch my right hand, while I stab you in the back with my left hand!

Not a single real American believes the DOJ (communist den) will bring an investigation of one of their own socialist presidential candidates! Especially Clintoon>

The same DOJ has spent several years covering up this stupid B-—ch— “re-set with Russia” “Benghazi murder of four Americans” etc. to now investigate her!

The same DOJ they are asking to investigate Clintoon, knew about her using private emails for State Department business will now investigate her?

If this wasn't so stupid and insane, I would laugh myself into unconsciousness!

What will be interesting, is to see how many Americans actually expect something to happen or believe the DOJ will seek any kind of action!

Popcorn anyone?

If Obama is turning his Justice Department on Hillary then it means that they do not think she is electable and want to force her withdrawal. Essentially she can’t pass the smell test. She laundered bribes through her phony foundation and Bill’s highly paid boring speeches while Secretary of state. She is also a very wooden candidate. There also may be convincing video documenting her lesbian orientation and alcoholism. Look for Biden or Kerry to come out and “save the Party and the Obama Legacy”. Look out though. Hillary knows much about Lerner, the IRS scandal and gun running to Mexico. She may not go quietly.

I don’t know much about the State Department, but I’d think any of the ICs would want some resolution on this. If she can violate classified material handling procedures and that could be shown through investigation and nothing was done about it, how could any of them successfully prosecute other infractions of the same class?

Equal protection under the law could also be construed to be applicable, especially for ignoring one egregious case and prosecuting another.

The Department of Justice has made no decision on whether to comply with the requests ...

Nor, of course, will they. This is just another bullet Hildabeast will dodge.

As soon as they are done investigating the IRS.

Any criminal probe requires that the AG (assuming it's Federal, which an Inspector General request would be) OK it. Do you think Lynch operates independently from Obama/Jarrett? I do not.

Think back to the opening days of Obama's administration when former basketball start Kevin Johnson, Mayor of Sacramento, was being investigated by Inspector General Gerald Walpin. Obama quashed the investigation.

Today, we have this item in the Washington Times, which probably merits a thread of its own. Obama Restricts IG Powers I wonder if these are related.

It could be a dog and pony show to extort money from her as well figuring she’ll pay for them to leave her alone. They know what they’re doing.

She will never be convicted of anything....period!

Corruption is rampant in all levels of government and as the level of government rises, so does the corruption.

We have seen the Supreme Court make laws and we have seen the government is impervious to the rule of law.

They take care of their own and she is one of their own.

Drip...drip...drip. They’re getting nervous. No coincidence that this action comes on the heels for the polls showing support for her is plummeting.

Look for Biden to announce soon with Warren as his top VP pick.

They can’t let Sanders get the upper hand.

Well, yes they’re related. The point is moot now because the Times changed their report to “IG inquiry” vs. “criminal investigation”. Hillary complained to them and to the WHITE HOUSE, I guess.

And in the year 2040 the results of the official inquiry into Hillary Clinton’s email problem were finally revealed. Due to the fact that she passed away 10 years ago the results will be sealed in memory of her service to this country.

"Two inspectors general have asked the Justice Department to launch a criminal investigation into whether Hillary Clinton mishandled sensitive information through her private e-mail account..."

Lots of ways to reply to this, but my take is that any investigation by this Justice Dept would be a laughable exoneration finding 'no evidence of criminality.'

Not even a smidgeon of a scandal, as Obama might with a straight weasel face.

More to the point, they need to lower the bar to whether it was even legal for her to HAVE and USE a private server for US Gov't business, classified or not.

They won’t do anything because it’ll enable them to make her their puppet, unless they don’t think she can win. She’ll have the constant threat of being exposed if she doesn’t comply. Her presidency would be a sham.

If they don’t think she can win, but doesn’t quit the race, they may decide to destroy her.
