On another note...

Here are six trivia questions to see how much history you really know. Be honest; it’s kind of fun and revealing. If you don’t know the answer make your best guess. Answer all of the questions (no cheating) before looking at the answers. And, no, the answers to these questions aren’t all Barack Obama:

1) “We’re going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good.”

A. Karl Marx B. Adolph Hitler C. Joseph Stalin D. Barack Obama E. None of the above

2) “It’s time for a new beginning, for an end to government of the few, by the few, and for the few... and to replace it with shared responsibility, for shared prosperity.”

A. Lenin B. Mussolini C. Idi Amin D. Barack Obama E. None of the above

3) “(We).... can’t just let business as usual go on, and that means something has to be taken away from some people.”

A. Nikita Khrushchev B. Joseph Goebbels C. Boris Yeltsin D. Barack Obama E. None of the above

4) “We have to build a political consensus and that requires people to give up a little bit of their own ... in order to create this common ground.”

A. Mao Tse Tung B. Hugo Chavez C. Kim Jong II D. Barack Obama E. None of the above

5) “I certainly think the free-market has failed.”

A. Karl Marx B. Lenin C. Molotov D. Barack Obama E. None of the above

6) “I think it’s time to send a clear message to what has become the most profitable sector in (the) entire economy that they are being watched.”

A. Pinochet B. Milosevic C. Saddam Hussein D. Barack Obama E. None of the above

It hasn’t gone past me and I think when it comes to picking a winner at this point in time for the Presidential contest. FR’s should really hold off till they see the whites of their eyes (with the particular exception of Bush and Lindsey) when it come to the rest of these candidates including Trump.

Cruz took a pitch from McConnell and turned it into a bases full, out of the park home run. That is where the news focus should have been this entire weekend. On what is going on in the Senate and the b/s by McConnell and on Cruz.

Instead what happened ? One of Walker’s funders at the same time probably unaware or un-coordianted with what Cruz did takes a swipe at Trump. Walkers press people disclaim it. The focus is still on Cruz’s vs McConnell action.

Trump ignores the Walker presser’s no no. Claims he can’t wait for a Walker back off. But what is really happening in the news cycle is that Cruz has grabbed the headlines focused on what’s really going on in the Senate. Focused on two issues; Import Export Bank, and Baby Parts.

Trump dumps on Walker with garbage stuff also the Hill & Billy show just to make it bi-partisan.

Poof! The attention moves from the bank issue because the GOPES and the media don’t want that IE bank issue up front. And push Trump to the front page.

So we’re talking all about Trump again. Luckily the baby part issue hasn’t gone away but Cruz is off the front page and so is the IE bank issue.

Trump could have waited to bang at Walker even jumped on the IE bank issue. (ahh but would he ?) Instead what did he do ?

There is already a party that represents the people while adhering to the Constitution.

The Constitution Party (CP).

No need to re-invent the wheel. Supporters should mosey on over and give it a boost. It’s that simple:

Some of us have been saying that for years. Wish people had listened.

But they demanded their lesser evils no matter what. And got greater evil for the trouble.

Explain how a third party would garner enough votes to beat the Democrats.
Please explain to me why a Republican will be any different from having a democrat? I do not see a dime's worth of difference between Republican "leadership" and the democrat leadership.

For this reason, if the nominee is not Cruz or Walker, I'll vote Libertarian. At least the Libertarians' goal is to dismantle the Federal Beast and return power to States.

I guess ou’ve never heard of the Christian Classic “ A Christian Manifesto” by Fracus Schaefer??

Amazon:
In this explosive book, Francis Schaeffer shows why morality and freedom have crumbled in our society. He calls for a massive movement-in government, law, and all of life-to reestablish our Judeo-Christian foundation and turn the tide of moral decadence and loss of freedom.

A Christian Manifesto is literally a call for Christians to change the course of history-by returning to biblical Truth and by allowing Christ to be Lord in all of life.

I am just coming to read the books of Francis Schaeffer, and what has impressed me initially is his holistic perspective of Christianity. Schaeffer insists that Christian belief and God’s reality necessarily pervade the whole of life, and he justifies his insistence with Biblical/theological evidence that is both reasonable and practical. This book focuses on how Christian belief should extend into the realm of government. He persuasively argues that not only is the United States founded upon the Christian belief in an ultimate truth, God, but also that this is the only foundation upon which a government can truly stand. “A Christian Manifesto” is essentially a warning cry about the encroachment of humanism, but rather than being an alarmist writing (although at times it ventures dangerously close to that ground), “Manifesto” is instead a reasonable, logical presentation of predictable results of the humanist world view. If there is anything alarming about “Manifesto” it is the realization that the humanist world view cannot compel a person to obey the law for any other reason than force.
Equally interesting is Schaeffer’s discussion of a Christian’s proper response to government, the basis of a government’s authority, and the Christian response to government that usurps it’s authority. In all of these discussions Schaeffer undergirds his arguments with the ultimate reality of God and the implications of this reality... (Excerpt of Amazon review)

“It’s time for a new third party...a Conservative Party for Reaganites and libertarians alike. The GOP is a progressive partner to the Democrats now...no changing them...voting no longer matters.”

Voting hasn’t mattered since 1980.

It was time for a second party in 1988. It will not happen because as so many second parties have found, the uniparty controls ballot access, controls access to the media, controls the election rules, controls campaign finance, and when all else fails, counts the votes.

In case you haven’t noted, the uniparty basically controls our electoral politics.

Try answering the question if you want the “third party” solution to work.

libertarians are teamed up with the left far too often

I was a member of the Libertarian party. While most can be with us on most issues, there are many who are one brain snap from flipping to hard-core Marxism over the issue of religious liberty and abortion.

While the average libertarian can be brought over to Conservatism, many politically active libertarian members cannot.
