Boy Scouts of America Amends Adult Leadership Policy [Openly Gay Leaders Now Allowed]

On Monday, July 27, the National Executive Board ratified a resolution that removes the national restriction on openly gay adult leaders and employees. Of those present and voting, 79 percent voted in favor of the resolution. The resolution was recommended for ratification by the Executive Committee earlier this month. The resolution is effective immediately.

Chartered organizations will continue to select their adult leaders and religious chartered organizations may continue to use religious beliefs as criteria for selecting adult leaders, including matters of sexuality. This change allows Scouting’s members and parents to select local units, chartered to organizations with similar beliefs, that best meet the needs of their families. This change also respects the right of religious chartered organizations to choose adult volunteer leaders whose beliefs are consistent with their own.

Moving forward, we will continue to focus on reaching and serving youth, helping them grow into good, strong citizens. By focusing on the goals that unite us, we are able to accomplish incredible things for young people and the communities we serve.

I also suspect they were behind Zach Wahl's getting the 300K signatures to put even more pressure on the scouts to allow gay scout leaders. Wahl if you remember was the gay Eagle Scout that was raised by two lesbian mothers.

I find this interesting because ofthe following facts:

1. George Soros and his Open Society Institute directly fund Humans Right Campaign 2. Soros is reportedly a large donor to NAMBLA and supports numerous other LGBT groups.

if he's not gay why would he donate so much time and effort into funding them other than the destruction of Christianity and the family unit?

i think the new BSA will become NAMBLA's supplier for rich pedophiles with money to burn. When cub scouts start disapeparing on field trips and are never seen again remember I told you so.

Tomorrow, I will return my Eagle Scourt Metal to the BSA and request that I be removed from their records and listing of Eagle Scouts.

I was always proud to say that I AM an Eagle Scout. It is with a saddened heart that I will have to sheepesly admit that is WAS an Eagle Scout.

If you had asked me on the day on my Eagle Scout award, “Will homosexuals be able to invade and destroy BSA in the next few decades?” I would have looked at you like you were from outer space. (At the time, I’m not sure what a homosexual really was.)

In retrospect, Scouting years were the best of my young adult life. I am so sorry that so many young men will not have a similar experience.

It is truely a sad day for America.
