Obama: If I ran again, 'I could win'
Business Insider ^ | 07/28/2015 | JULIE PACE, ASSOCIATED PRESS

Could US President Barack Obama win a third term in office? He's convinced that he could, but he would really rather not.

Obama used his own history of electoral success to rib African leaders who overstay their welcomes by refusing to leave office after their terms expire. In his speech Tuesday at the African Union headquarters, he conceded unfamiliarity with that concept because as a second-term US president, he is constitutionally barred from running again.

"I actually think I'm a pretty good president," Obama said. "I think if I ran, I could win. But I can't!"

That's just fine with the president. Obama said he was looking forward to leaving behind the trappings of office, including his presidential security detail, and having more flexibility to do things such as travel to Africa after he leaves the White House. He said that while he was still relatively young, he thought a new president with new insights w0uld be good for the US.

Obama: If I ran again, 'I could win'

As long as the media apparatus that allowed him to win is intact (and it is) and his control of the FedGov allows him to cheat and apply pressure, then yeah, he could win a third term.

Which is a measure of the American voter.

The point was made of how close the countries statistics measured so closely to carter at the end of his term versus Obama. Granted Romney was obviously no RWR, but 2012 was a true testament how stupid our electorate has become.

Absolutely right. I’ve been saying Michelle will be the nominee for the past few months. The machine is already in place, and no one can speak ill will of her w/o being labeled. The only way she doesn’t win is if she chooses another woman as her VP. Question is, would BHO ever play second bill to her?

Even though she is even less-qualified than her husband. Not fit to run a Girl Scout troop. But Valerie Jarrett would still be there, so what’s the difference?

Less qualified? She’s over 35 and isn’t that the only qualification anyone needs according to the constitution? I see it happening. Unfortunately.

Anybody who watches the clip would conclude that he was angry at his audience and only lashed out that he “could win” if he ran again because they all clapped when he first said that he COULDN’T run again!

Most people over 35 are not qualified by their life experiences to be president. She’s one of them.
