Grudgingly they are starting to show Trump some respect.

Hillary claims that she wants to “fight” for “da little peoples”. She’s chock full ‘o’ ****! Hillary is “fighting” for powah and money. Nothing more. Just say no to Hillary. Her days with her hand in the pockets of the American people are over. She needs to go home and be a grandmother.

"“the best and the brightest have given the country away on the border, on debt, on jobs.” -Chris Mathews

Kinda makes you wonder why he gets tingles up his thighs over people like that?

Did Matthews stop drinking. he actually makes sense here. Although Captain Obvious could have made the same observation.

“the best and the brightest have given the country away on the border, on debt, on jobs.”

The best and brightest are in the hinterlands making this country work. The parasitic drones are in DC writing laws which any 10 year old can see are stupid.

I think it is interesting that Chuck Todd admits that the media attacks Trump.

“the more we in the media attack him the more powerful he gets.”

Oh oh! A Freudian slip. I thought the media was supposed to report facts not “attack “.

Donald Trump is resonating with the “little guy” because he is taking on the elites who have betrayed working Americans on issues like trade and immigration

Should say, "including, but not at all limited to, trade and immigration." And the "betrayers" include most all Democrats and the GOPe.

I am waiting for Cruz and Trump to start saying that the Democrats purposefully got us into this mess . . . because that is REALLY what happened.

Host Chuck Todd also conceded that the “the more we in the media attack him the more powerful he gets.”

They won't be able to stop themselves though. Heh.

I don’t really care to be referred to as the “little Guy” or “Joe Six Pack”, I believe Todd and Matthews mean this to be demeaning. I’m a free thing Conservative who supports Senator Ted Cruz but is happy to see Trump going after the liberals and progressives whether they be republicans, democrats or “journalists”.

Has Matthews had a brief transient moment of lucidity?

If so, it will only last until his leg starts tingling again.

I would encourage Trump, and Cruz, to keep touting their ‘underdog’ status. Many of us out here feel like we the underdogs have to fight our own government.

Frankly, referring to some Corporate Managers, who in pursuit of outrageous bonuses are ridiculously focused on perceived interests spanning only the next several quarters, but with their heads in the sand as to the long term dynamics resulting from the immigration policies they have embraced; referring to such myopic, but otherwise only semi-functional types, as "elites," should make anyone snicker. They are "elites," only in the dry humorous sense that the courtiers in the Hans Christian Andersen classic, "The Emperor's New Clothes," were "elites."

And if Corporate managers, who have pushed the immigration fiasco, are no better than a parody of "elitism"; what can one say for the political whores who chase after the patronage of those grasping Corporate managers--even to the point of betraying their constituents' heritage.
