Sarah Palin on Donald Trump: ‘Thank God That He’s Running’
Breitbart ^ | 3 Aug 2015 | Michelle Moons

Posted on 08/03/2015 11:33:22 PM PDT by Red Steel

What started it all? Trump had simply said he would “love” to have former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin serve in an “official capacity” in the event of a Trump Presidency and this week the Governor herself joined the radio program.

Trump’s praise for Palin made its way across national and international media and entertainment outlets including CNN, Fox, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, Fortune, Time, Washington Times, Washington Post, New York Daily News, local outlets, TMZ, E! and Cosmopolitan to name some as the comments went viral.

“I absolutely respected even more his boldness for being so candid about his opinion of me,” Palin said of Trump’s candidacy and comments as someone who says she does know Trump well.

She said Trump is “calling it like it is” as he is “not a politician.”

He’s gonna tell the truth and not couch all of his answers with some poll-tested, kind of namby pamby, vanilla flavored answer to anything. He’s going to be candid and he’s going to be candid and tell you what he thinks, what his solutions are and that’s so refreshing in politics.

He’s bringing issues that need to be talked about to the forefront of national debate Palin said.

“You’re never going to find a perfect candidate,” Palin told Scholla and ...

I thank God that he’s running. He’s stirring it up. He’s coaching, he’s educating the other candidates, letting them know this is how you tap into the good part of a populist movement, these are the issues that the people are talking about, jobs, industry, the competition for our jobs via illegal aliens coming over open borders. All those things that Donald Trump has taken on, well the other candidates now, they have to step up their game.

Unfortunately, the majority of them have no game to step up. They have laid out their pitiful vision for America, and no one is buying. To change now, would be considered flip-flopping. We shall see what happens.

I’m not a Trumper but am glad he is in the race..
He is digging up the graves of many dead concepts..

He has exhumed the bodies of long covered ideas..
for that he deserves thanks..

Cruz needs to fly past him he is a scardy cat...
The real issues will never be mentioned... UNLESS..
Cruz brings THEM UP...

America wasnt ready for Pauls attack on the federal reserve.. the fed is a tip of an Iceberg..
THEY ARE NOW.....

Many other major issues could be mentioned in a way Americans CAN GRASP..
Trump never will.. he is a Fascist to be honest..

Has always been one..

Look at the graph from this Link.
It is clear that Trump is taking votes from all candidates.

As Trump surged every one of them went down without exception, around mid-July. I have never seen in 55 years of adult life, such a steep rise for any candidate in primaries or general.

Palin always heard and read the people just like Trump does. I am trying to imagine who would clean the rats out of State Dept faster Palin or Bolton?

You could be right.. but “flame out”... is possible..
This is an unusual election...

The “people” could stampede.. or just bleat as usual..
I’m hoping for stampede.. toward Cruz..

I trust Cruz.. have zero trust in Trump.. ZERO..
but want Trump in the race..hopefully blurting out “the King is naked”....

Thank God. If Trump wasn’t in the race then Bush would win. And Trump just happens to be the best candidate since Reagan.

Because the media so demonized her and made her anathema to so many Americans, The GOP Establishement, and Conservatives, have thrown Sarah under the bus since '08. I'm wondering if all the Trump "haters" here on FR now hate Sarah also. My question is as follows.......

Is it too early for Trump to enlist Sarah to get out there and campaign for him? I'm thinking it would be good if he turned her loose NOW to work IA, NH and SC, to not only make speeches for him but to enlist volunteers and lay a ground game in those three states that will still be solid and have a strong base of support less than 6 months from now when the first Caucus/Primaries begin. If he wins those three States, it's "Katie bar the door" the rest of the way to the nomination. The GOP IA Caucus is February 1, 2016.

This would not only help The Donald, but, it would get the beloved Sarah back out there amongst "the real folks"; the people who vote in Primaries and want to see someone "Make America Great Again". GO DONALD! GO SARAH!

Thank God Trump is shaking things up, but hopefully none of us are relying on Trump as a messiah or substitute for God in our lives.

Politics is not my salvation, so to speak.

Lets see how Trump does in the debate—I hope he wins but you know they will be ganging up on him and the MSM will twist what he says in a negative way. He might blow it like Casey at the Bat: Somewhere men are happy and somewhere children shout, but their is no joy in Trumpville, for mighty Donald did strike out. I am hoping he cleans their clocks —hits them with zingers—deflects attacks—says new stuff about Hillart & Biden—and Planned Parenthood. Lets hope he wins this round!

The one consistent thing about Trump as of late is that he refuses to play their game. As long as he does so, how can he strike out in it? The most confused folks right now are the media. They insist he play there game while blindly pitching from a mound on the north pole.

This is not a game to Trump and therein lies the separation from most of those on the stage last night. He has nothing to lose and likewise, most of the gaggle have everything to lose.

The problem is why should anyone believe the other candidates when they “step up their game” and start saying what Trump is saying.

Back in ‘92 there were lots of state wide candidates who tried to sound like Ross Perot. AG Jim Maddox was one of them when he ran for governor of Texas.

I think Trump is hoping she will endorse him early.

I don't think she will. She has said equally good things about Cruz and Walker.

In the past she has most often come into a race when it is at a tipping point, and changed the balance. I'd be surprised if she doesn't wait and watch for a while longer.
