Chris Wallace, moderator of the first GOP debate, plans ‘some doozies’

Chris Wallace tapped the black three-ring binder resting on the corner of his desk. “I’ve got some doozies in there,” he said, eyebrow raised provocatively.

The unlabeled binder holds the veteran Fox News anchor’s questions for Thursday’s Republican primary debate, for which he will serve as a moderator. Clamped inside it are newspaper clippings, memos to his researcher and outlines of what the hodgepodge of presidential candidates vying to top the GOP field have been saying about the issues and about each other.

It has become a primary-season ritual for Wallace, a fixture at Fox News for more than a decade, to challenge and goad the packed roster of Republican candidates. But this debate in Cleveland, the first of the 2016 election season, may be in a league of its own.

By “doozies” he means those questions that come from that yellow Democrat streak down his back.

He’s one of the last people that should be moderating a Republican debate.

It would be nice to find some low-key, serious, humble moderators who didn’t think this debate was all about THEM. An adult, perhaps.

Maybe Mark Levin should host a democrat debate.

Blame the Republican Party...again. They choose the venues. Let’s see: gay marriage, how old is earth? Who is your favorite philosopher, bar Jesus? Do you submit to your husband, Carly? I can see it now!

The first candidate who shuts down a question or comment from “left field” is going to be a hero. The one who delivers a killing blow for the same will see major bump in polling numbers.

The left is an abomination. Any indicator of support for them should be savagely crushed, we are way beyond a peaceful reconciliation.

Chris Wallace is a clown, but I don’t see how he can help or hurt any of these guys chances. They’re supposedly all “R”’s. No libs would vote for any of these people anyway.

Instead of substance, gotcha’s will rule the day. This ignorant tactic by the media will further solidify Trump.

No...No...No...Wait....wait....wait

“These tough questions only HELP the Republicans later since we can get all these difficult issues out in the open and inoculate them from the media”... hahahahahahaha

Fact is, the “debate” is an awesome way to get sound-bites for the Dems to use later and beat up the Pubs... the MEDIA is all in... It doesn’t really matter which network they work for... The GOP(dumb) do this EVERY TIME...

Hardly. They're all hoping for their own personal Sistah Soulja moment.

It’s all about electing “their” candidate. Watch him and babycakes Kelly go after Trump with a vengeance.

Ah yes, but the “moderates” & “independents” are what they all crave (cause that’s what the “experts” say you need to win!) So if you go out on stage and appear “conservative” or “radical” or “fringe” then all is lost...

Guess what? Ain’t no conservatives I know for Trump... But all the moderates and independents sure are! Because he is a FIGHTER!

You shut Chris Wallace down by forcing him to reveal if he ever voted for Obama before answering his gotcha questions.

I don’t believe for a New York minute that there is anything Republican, Conservative, Libertarian or otherwise on that side of the spectrum about Wallace. He’s an undercover liberal and he’s very good at disguising it yet still getting out those subtle jabs and points for Democrats.

You know, kinda like how child molesters are so able to blend in their surroundings. That’s him. An undercover molester.
