Because of Democrats, the dumbing down of America is increasing. The dependency on government is atrocious. Pop culture, media and education are the three vehicles driving us into a morass of stupidity.
The question should be why do so many black men commit crimes? The answer is, because the black families, generally speaking, cease to exist in a traditional sense. The urban area produces criminal types just as a manufacturing factory produces a product. What is the percentage of black children born to single women - close to 90%?? These kids don’t have a chance. Clean up the ghettos and reduce the prison population. There is nothing the rest of the population can do. This not a matter of money. Only the black population can fix it. Black churches where are you??

I know quite a few successful black males and the common thread among all of them is they had a Dad who would open a can of whoopass if they got out of line.

You missed the root cause of black problems — government. Get the government to stop subsidizing bad behavior and you’d get a lot less of it.
There was discrimination in the 50s, but the black family was largely intact and we didn’t have the ferals destroying everything in their path.

I always enjoyed his appearances on TV when he discussed politics. He was very good on giving an honest answer in a "no bull shit" manner. You knew exactly what he was talking about and he never attempted to hide his position with camouflage style rhetoric.
I rarely agreed with his position on most matters but he seemed to be someone who always "walked his talk" and that is rare in politics.

When I look at the crime statistics, I reach a different conclusion.
It is not politically correct to say this, but there are not enough black criminals in jail.
We need to keep putting black criminals in jail and keep them there until the crime rate among the free ones left is equal to the crime rate for the rest of our society.
