Man shot, killed ... in northeast Baltimore; Shooting marks city's 200th homicide of 2015

Officers were called around 4:45 p.m. to the 2700 block of The Alameda near Kennedy Avenue on reports of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds to his upper body.

Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene.

"I heard three shots, and then I heard police running, and they all went in the alley," said Maxine Isabelle, a resident who lives across the street from the shooting scene. "It was so close to home now. You hear about it but not right here. That could have been my alley, not that alley over there. It's really, really bad, and they are young kids."

A drop in the bucket. A lot more troublemakers need to get shot before things are going to improve.

Last year, New York City recorded 333 murders ALL YEAR. So Baltimore is on a place to pass that. New York has about 15 times the population of Baltimore.
