What a delightful prospect... Corporate support for a TRUMP/CRUZ ticket because they know it'll drive the weenies absolutely freakin' bonkers!

unstopable

It has me thinking. If Cruz would teach Trump true constitutional conservativism I will be on board. Cruz is incredibly intellectual, and speaks intellectually. Trump, not so much, but Trump appeals to common folk. Perfect foils to each other?

Bend over and cough, Republicrats

Donald Trump, billionaire extraordinaire, is a consummate showman, though Cruz is no slouch, so I can see Trump wringing every ounce out of the job as a “bully pulpit”. Senator Cruz, as veep, lawyer/administrator, takes care of business.

That is, both of them will actually be doing the things the RINOs promised but failed to even try to do.
Then in four or 8 years, it’s all Cruz control.

If the `rats and their GOP-e allies think they’ve been clever with their little tin king and `executive orders’ and `loyal opposition’, they ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
We’re looking at a minimum of 12 years of Trump-Cruz, and two guys who know how to get things done ... yeah baby!

They made a deal already.

I believe you're correct. It's just a question of timing the announcement for maximum effect. If Trump sweeps the early primaries and it looks like the RNC is going to try some superdelegate shenanigans to prop up Jeb, I think that's what will pull the trigger to put the RNC on notice that this is their ticket if they want to avoid a third party run.

Just a reminder. Candidates for office cannot offer or promise jobs to people during the election. That means that Cruz can’t declare that Trump would his Secretary of the Treasury, for example, and Trump can’t say that he would appoint Cruz to the Supreme Court.

On August 8th, CNN asked Jeffrey Lord why Cruz won’t criticize Trump and he said he believes they have made some kind of agreement.

I think it’ll end up being Cruz/Trump,

I don’t see either one playing a 2nd fiddle role. JMO.

Please inform me. Is this law or RNC rules?

OMG they would need to open their own pharmaceutical company, I would be VERY happy to see Cruz with Trump these bastards are just chomping at the bit to rid themselves of Cruz and the tea party Trump will serve as a shield for Cruz, Trump has seen Cruz stand for his principles and be STABBED IN THE BACK repeatedly, Trump surrounds himself with people just like Cruz they would be a VERY good team!!! I WANT PAYBACK!!!!

They made a deal already. If Trump and Cruz really was the GOP ticket can you imagine all the Xanax and Prozac the lefties and the GOPe would consume?

I for one would love to see it. I'm for Cruz as POTUS, but if it is Trump, so be it.

I’m not sure there’d be a building large enough to hold the crowd. For certain, nobody is paying folks to be there (shades of Hillary).

Apparently, Rubio and Walker are forming some kind of alliance for an anti-trump add blitz after Labor Day, so why the hell not a Trump/Cruz alliance for those that are sick and tired of watching what’s been happening the last 20+ hrs. I say, let the games begin.
