Adviser to parliamentary speaker rejects British foreign secretary’s suggestion that Rouhani indicating ‘more nuanced approach’ to Jewish state

A senior Iranian official on Tuesday said Israel “should be annihilated,” and that the thawing relations with the West would not translate into a shift in Tehran’s position concerning the Jewish state.
Hussein Sheikholeslam, a foreign affairs adviser to parliament speaker Ali Larijani, told Iranian media that contrary to remarks by British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond, “Our positions against the usurper Zionist regime have not changed at all; Israel should be annihilated and this is our ultimate slogan.”
Hammond was in Iran on Monday for the reopening of the UK embassy in Tehran, and said that Iranian President Hassan Rouhani had indicated a “more nuanced approach” to Israel’s existence. Hammond said Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s “revolutionary sloganizing” should be distinguished from “what Iran actually does in the conduct of its foreign policy.”
“We’ve got to, as we do with quite a number of countries, distinguish the internal political consumption rhetoric from the reality of the way they conduct their foreign policy,” the Guardian quoted Hammond saying.
Sheikholeslam told a Hamas news outlet earlier this month that Iran has resisted pressure exerted by the P5+1 world powers during the nuclear negotiations to halt its political involvement in Gaza, Syria and Yemen.
“These powers admitted that the reason for their pressure on us is our position on Israel,” he said. “We told them that we reject the existence of any Israeli on this earth.”

And yet to Obama, the Republicans who oppose his Iran deal are the “crazies,” not this guy.
And thanks to Obama/Kerry, and our rubber stamp congress, there’s an excellent chance it’ll happen.
And that has been their stance long before our nuclear deal with iran. This US administration is a danger to Israel because they embolden Israel's enemies.
Iran should be annihilated.
This is the regime Obama has given his blessing to acquire a nuclear bomb to.

It’s not surprising that Obama found a negotiating partner in Iran - shared goals make it easier to find common ground.
Look at Rouhani’s eyes. The same look as all those crazed “gunmen” like Jared Loughner and James Holmes.

In 1925 German Jewish leaders had the power and the means to eliminate the viscous anti Semitic Hitler and his thugs in a definitive manner. Tragically for the world they for whatever reason chose not to act. History has demonstrated that it is wise not to ignore such threats. The Iranians have made it clear and have repeated their intentions to annihilate Israel on a regular basis. Yet there are people who dismiss these dire proclamations as mere harmless rhetoric.

I remember in my old neighborhood a kid telling everyone he was gonna fight me soon because of some silly argument we had. He said it for weeks, then a few months, so it was just rhetoric, I thought.
When he finally did sucker punch me, it hurt. It was a good fight, but I digress.
Believe what people say they want to do to you. They wouldn't say it if they didn't mean it, at least a little.
Also fighting four proxy wars is a good example of how they are conducting foreign policy.
