Even its most conservative members are liberal?

You said I “couldn’t read.” I don’t know where you’re from, but where I’m from that’s insulting.

No, I didn't say you couldn't read. But I implied it. You certainly can't write, if your orthography is any indication.

I was not a Romney supporter. You are not smart and I don’t talk to people who are as thick as bricks since there is no point. Bleet on somewhere else sheep.

That’s your response to someone’s question?

Note to self: Will be scrolling past any and all posts by z taxman in the future.

Is the irony of what I said truly lost on you? Lol..

In 2008, McCain was dead in the polls in August 2007(and his campaign was broke as well), with Giuliani polling over 3 times as much as McCain, and McCain still ended up winning the nomination.
We happen to be in August in the year before the election’s now,no?
You can’t assume the polls in February will be the same as in August. They hardly ever are.

“and if you knew how to read”

You should actually read what you post before you comment.

By the way, go bother someone else. I think for myself, so you’re wasting your time on me.

Conservatism is now opposed to free trade... just wow.

I have a feeling your version of free trade is more Libertarian than Conservative. Conservatives believe in limited government not anarchy. As well, Conservatives believe Government is tasked with protecting American interests.

Would the unlimited free trade you seem to want include selling American uranium mines to foreign entities? What about selling weapons technology? Is all of America for sale. or are there limits? Is an independent productive and thriving economy a national security interest? To who and how dependent should America be to foreign countries for how much of its raw material or manufactured needs?

"Funny that most of the media covers for Trump and promotes him nonstop.

Not so funny. They love his stratospheric negatives, they know he isn't electable, and even if he is elected, he will build the wall but do everything else exactly the way the Democrats will.

Needing to answer a question with a question indicates that one is confused on the subject.

As far as the candidates go, only Cruz has greens on the issues with one yellow and no reds. There may be other valid opinions out there.

As far as free trade per se, the commies were never opposed to it.
  1. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war. …
  1. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N. …
  1. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.

  2. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
  1. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture—education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

  2. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus. …
  1. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

  2. Infiltrate and gain control of big business. …
  1. Internationalize the Panama Canal. …
The Naked Communist, Chapter 12, “Current Communist Goals”
This came out over a half-century ago. Communistic free trade, designed for the benefit of communism only. Can’t say we haven’t been warned.

Good post. Thank you.

The Libertarian version of 'free trade' can destroy a nation just as easily as open borders can...

The 'free trade' with Iran & Cuba that Obama is pimping is not good for American interests.

Communist Manifesto, Chapter 2
The source of the notion of “open borders”, for the record.

You can also find telepathically gifted individuals and organize a shadowy second foundation, and memorize a few books so that they can’t be confiscated.

Obama’s birth certificate his d**k to do with Obama’s economic policies. I sure wouldn’t want a President who “knew little” about good economic policy as recently as 7 years ago.

Bu that was BEFORE an apple fell out of a tree and hit him in the head and turned him into “true conservative hero”.

I mean it’s not like he’s a leftist who’s STILL showing signs of being a leftist by proposing tax hikes on the rich or anything.........

G girl, I quite simply don’t believe or trust him and I doubt that will change.

If he’s the nominee I’ll hold my nose and vote for him like I did for McLame and Romney.

>>>I mean it’s not like he’s a leftist who’s STILL showing signs of being a leftist by proposing tax hikes on the rich or anything<<<

The current Top Income Tax Rate under Obama is 39.6%, not including the Obamacare surcharge Tax of 3.9%.

Trump is proposing, as in Congress has to pass it, a Top Income Tax Rate of 15%. Not sure if that will be Revenue Neutral unless we can keep the Federal Budget static.

Last time I checked, 39.6% plus 3.9% are greater than 15%.

But hey, I only finished a Year of College before I started my Career so I’m sure I must be missing something.
