If Trump was running as a Democrat, would you still support him? (Vanity)

I imagine Trump is kicking himself now for sliding into the crowded Republican race instead of the Democratic race. But who knew a few months ago that Hillary would implode leaving the Democratic race with NOBODY as a possible?

Sure Trump is enjoying a double digit percentage lead in the Repub polls, but imagine his ratings (75%? 85%?) if he ran basically unopposed as a Democrat?

Wouldn't be a very good fit, now would it?

Nice try though.

Probably not unless we nominated Jeb Bush. If Bush were the nominee I would vote for even for Sanders. If Sanders were President I would like to see the GOPE, “work with the Democrats to get things done”.

The support for Trump is weird. I can see the LIV Fox news Republicans liking his style, but I thought Freepers were more sophisticated.

What is unsophisticated about being fed-up and tired of being let down, and in many cases, openly lied-to by Republicans in the past 10 years? We supported conservatives each and every time, and we were handed McCain and Romney, who we reluctantly voted for, and who lost. We've rised-up and helped to vote the Republicans into the House and Senate. And what did we get? More of McConnell and Bohner, crying and wringing their hands instead of acting like men and fighting for the causes of their voters.

In short, the Republican Party has completely failed us. What's the solution? Someone who can go in and clean house. If Trump wins and does nothing else other than build the border wall, expand the military and hold the line on the Middle East, while pushing the pussified Republican-controlled Congress into action, it would be a success in my view.

My answer comes from another thread I posted to yesterday in regards to a National Review article:

If Donald Trump was on the Democratic ticket and Ted Cruz (or any proving conservative) was on the Republican ticket, I'd vote for Ted Cruz hands down.

If Donald Trump was on the Democratic ticket and Jeb Bush (or any other GOP hack) was on the Republican ticket, I'd vote for Donald Trump hands down.

In 2016, if the typical marxists are on the Democrat ticket, and Jeb or any GOP hack is on the Republican ticket,I sit it out, because it's all over.

You see that? It is not about party - it's about principle

If Trump was running as a Democrat, would you still support him?

Let's flip this around. Would the Establishment start supporting him?........

Would the GOP leadership get down on their knees, like they do with Obama, and kiss his hand?

Would Boehner scream like a giddy little girl if Trump were to offer him a ride on his jet?

If it was Trump (D) vs jeb! (R) I would vote Trump.

If it was Trump (D) vs krispie(R) I would vote Trump.

If it was Trump (D) vs que-sick(R) I would vote Trump.

If it was Trump (D) vs Ted Cruz(R) I would vote Cruz and crawl over broken glass to do so.

I'd also vote for Walker and would give the rest of the field another look perhaps.

“Yeah? Well, he has been a “RAT” in the past. So estimate for us please what percentage of his brains does he have left?”

So was Reagan.

Point is that you can only take him at his word. He certainly is delivering conservative positions more effectively than anyone else right now.

No. Because ANY Democrat will bring to Washington thousands and thousands of blood-thirsty baby-murderers.

What if George Washington ran as a Democrat and got 85% of the party vote as opposed to 40% as a Republican?

What if Reagan did?

Your hypothetical is a thinly veiled hit piece implying that Trump would get a higher percent of the vote if he ran as a Democrat and thus must be a democrat. He's not.

But the fact is given a choice between:

I doubt if Trump could oust Hillary, as fate would have it he wouldn’t have needed to. Trump is not apolitical, he’s aparty. Trump knows and plays politics but doesn’t abide by the two party system. To The Donald there is but one party, the Trump party and I like just about all his positions, although his personality can be hard to take.

My democrat friends already support him. In fact, I’m not a republican. I was a lifelong democrat who campaigned for democrat governors and congressman.

I’m an Indie because the democrat party left me, not the other way around.

Trump is many things and has of course been on multiple sides of issues, but overarchingly, I can’t see him siding with those who wish to tear up and vandalize the country. So I can’t see him running as a Dem and getting into that bed.

In the Primaries no. If he was running against Bush or Lindsiegirlieman etc. in the General most definitely.

That is a very sophisticated assessment, and why you should ignore the hype and stand with Cruz.

If Jeb Bush, Linseed Graham, John Kasich, Mike Huckabee, Marcho Rubio, Chris Christy, Fiona Carly, Ron Paul were Republicans would you consider voting for one of them?

Trump running as a Democrat on the plank of “Build the wall and deport the illegals” gets about 1% of the Democrat vote and laughed off the Left’s political stage.

_______________________________________

Disagree. There ain’t no leftist political stage to laugh Trump off of. Hillary? Biden? Nope.

And as for the Republican/right stage? The GOP-e and most conservatives are trying to laugh him off OUR stage as well.

How’s that working out?
