Oh please. That’s such a pie-in-the-sky solution. Let’s start making parents be responsible. Yeah, that’s going to happen.
Whether it’s realistic or not, whether it will take a really long time, it’s arguably the best solution. It can complement with other actions. But in the current climate that possibility can’t even be mentioned without haranguing and name-calling, which immediately derails any discussion.

The Soros funded BLM movement needs to be exposed as the cynical ploy that it truly is, an effort to foment full on race war in this country.
They don’t usually have “parents” in the plural, but just a mother...who is often no better than they are. And they’re surrounded by an entire culture that lives on violence and hated. So even if mom is fine, there’s not much she can do.
Quick capture and quick punishment are the only things that work.
All other rights seem to pale in comparison to fear of being killed at random or robbed in broad daylight. If a society slides into violent crime that authorities will not control,you get societies welcoming a strong man in the hope of simply being SAFE.
And the black lives matter movement members say they want to end punishment for shoplifting and minor crimes, as well as less severe punishment for blacks who commit crimes as compared to whites.
This creates a strong groundswell for a strong leader - and one that undermines everyone’s freedom in the long run.
King is a bit of a minor-league columnist at the WaPo. His columns get little respect from the readership, who are primarily interested in national and international issues.
Urban blacks are working on 2 or 3 generations of Baby Mommas and Baby Daddies instilling nothing of values into their spawn. Reap what you sow.

I actually see that more blacks will embrace islam. They recruit heavily on twitter, especially the Ferguson one, drawing parallels to the struggle in Ferguson to the one in Gaza.
I firmly believe islam is making black males their shock troops to bring the US down.
I'm pretty sure that some Islamic leaders have publicly stated exactly that goal.
If they start to achieve success, we will be able to kill two birds with one stone - so to speak.

Everyone will embrace Islam out of fear. Only Christians and Jews have a reason not to do that.
I think that it was the Yugoslavian dictator Tito that dealt with such happenings in his country by decreeing a death penalty for anyone involved with a crime. He cut the crime wave but got worldwide condemnation for doing it his way.
How about we make these ‘parents’ 3/5ths responsible.
That would stir up the rabble.
And be entertaining.
The Black Lives Matter crowd cares only if whites kill blacks.
Black lives don’t count if they’re killed by fellow blacks.
So they’re racist hypocrites? We knew that already.
