Megyn Kelly Blasts ‘Double Standard’ Over Treatment Of Black Lives Matter Movement, Tea Party

On Tuesday, the Fox News Channel’s “Kelly File” host Megyn Kelly criticized the “double standard” between the treatment of the Black Lives Matter movement and the Tea Party, stating with the Black Lives Matter movement, “suddenly the actions of a few do not apply to the many” like they did with the Tea Party.

Kelly began by playing footage of a New Black Panther group chanting “Oink oink, bang bang” in front of a jail in Texas, which she said was “Just one of the angry and incendiary chants we have seen against police in recent months. … But so far, haven’t heard much from Washington. however, take a walk back with me to 2011, when a shooting in Tucson led to an angry chorus complaining about what they said was angry Tea Party rhetoric.”

I understand her intent, and applaud it.

But I still know of no instances where the tea party (including disruptors) advocated violence where the tea party itself didn’t do something to correct the problem.

The premise of the comparison is false. A true comparison would make BLM look even worse, and its supporters even more hypocritical.

More than once the Left has tried to associate shootings with "Tea Party Rhetoric" and Right Wing Extremism.
Whenever there is a white shooter, they try.
They even tried to pin the 2010 Times Square car bombing attempt on angry white TEA partiers, until they found out it was a Muzzie.
The TEA party does not advocate violence but the Left want us to believe they do.
So she has a point.

I think it is safe to say that Megyn Kelly doesn’t care one iota about some of the “I’ll never watch her” blather on this thread.

She is enjoying record ratings that will likely continue to soar as we get closer to the elections.
