Yeah, I saw that. Oh well, I tried.

I'm still waiting to be called a craven cowardly boot-licker, beholden to any form of authority, and unfit to post here at FR.

Obama and Holder set the tone when they unleashed their organized red guards in the Ferguson case. It was a manufactured political movement from start to finish.

Now some of the dogs have slipped their leash and are going off in unexpected ways, but as far as Obama and his political organizers are concerned, its probably peanuts in collateral damage.

It’ll be interesting to see how PDs respond to these gaps.

Probably have to lower standards to get billets filled.

Which opens the door to infiltration of the police by people who support BLM and the assassination campaign. If I was trying to impose a totalitarian system thats how I’d do it: drive the honest and ethical police out of the force, create disincentives to them being replaced by honest and ethical candidates. Make sure that candidates who support me are there waiting to fill up the surplus slots.

Iirc thats how Marion Barry did it in DC. He wasn’t looking to impose any sort of totalitarianism, but rather a cronyist kleptocracy. It took a close to a couple decades to really correct Metro Police from that.

The problem here is not the police, it is their liberal local governments refusing to support them. So instead of giving up on their idea of becoming police, they need to reassess *where* they want to be police.

Most of the US supports its police. So insisting on policing where the people hate them and the government disdains them, they need to go elsewhere.

It makes sense beyond even the hatred and lack of support.

Liberal governments offer more money and lots of retirement perks, but they likely will not make good on their promises. So what is the better deal? $40k a year you actually get paid, plus a real retirement; or $80k a year that you might not get paid, plus a ridiculously big retirement you won’t ever get?

What goes around comes around. Seems the cops don’t like what they dish out.

1. The standards will have to be lowered to fill the deficit
2. resulting in worse police performance
3. which will produce lower public esteem
4. leading to lower morale
5. and lower recruitments
6. GOTO 1

I work with cops and this isn’t what they are dishing out. Get a grip and think twice. If you think cold blooded murder is what “cops . . . dish out” you’re a natural born idiot.

Obviously you are illiterate and can’t read the all too often news reports of cops killing innocent people. Suckers like you are why Trump is winning. We are tired of crap like cops getting away with cold blooded murder.

Hell, that too!

Wasn’t it Lubbock, Texas , where the cops formed a circular firing squad around a house, shot the place up, killing one of their own then arrested the homeowner claiming he did it, only to have the prosecutor refuse to drop all charges until it was proof positive that the dead cop died by a cop bullet?
