Seconded. Get rid of all the judas goats, moles, and traitors.
GOD IS CO PILOT...
seconded?
I don’t think so
God does run the whole show. He also gave us free will, you may have noticed. We can ask him to ride along, he probably likes that.
I see where this is going. This isn’t about forbidding anything. When the opportunity to act comes, you have to decide what’s more important to you.
Well said.
This creates a dilemma for me, but I’m sure I’ll get some feed back. I work in retail and Plan B is available here. I am required to sell it. I morally consider it to be an abortion pill, so I am aiding and abetting. I need my job and have a lot of years invested. No one is going to fund me
if I get fired for refusing a customer. Sure, I can have someone else do the dirty work, but I still benefit from the proceeds.
Sometimes what God has put on my heart is to bring the love, even to haters. As long as it is not in the context of actually endorsing the hate.
The purified hatred on twitter (#FreeKimDavis) is on full display.
Thank God for FR that we not alone in our disgust as our religious freedoms are stripped from us under color of the law.
What if the money you spend is used to endorse the hate of Biblical values, even though alternatives are available?
An important principle is that when we forgive more, God forgives us more. You can write, for example, and voice your desire that they cease doing this, without having your only options be seemingly to either endorse or walk out.
God wants to usher in a flexible, strong kingdom of love, not a brittle, weak one of hate.
This does not take away from “Love does not behave itself unseemly” however the possibilities to do it biblically are broader than many of us imagine.
The kicker is the alternatives... if you are honest and not hypocritical you will soon find this a Brobdingnagian task.
This is the dilemma that Kim Davis faced. What do you think of her response?
All in. All in.
Yes it is, and impossible to get 100% under current circumstances, but I have managed to make purchasing choices based on this with some willingness to research alternatives.
And suppose you find that you can shop Christian businesses solely. Well what if some are (e.g.) Lutheran but (e.g.) you have it on good faith from the Lord that those Lutherans are headed straight to hell? Well you then have to be sure your Christian stores are not Lutheran.
Etc., etc. The bible is very straightforward, even saying bless your enemies. It’s their choice what they do with the blessing, not yours.
I am with you.
I think you were able to do this based on limited research. You might be very surprised if the veil were lifted away.
I love her courage in standing up for what she believes. I don’t know if she chose the best solution.
Yes sir, we are with you!
“Still, if you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed, if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly, you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than live as slaves.”
