The media has done everything they could do to attack Trump and it has backfired. It’s not like they were trying to promote him.

Yes, and Dowd’s consort on the Staphanopoulus show, Donna Brazile, is a big part of the reason The Donald is doing so well - Republicans and conservatives saw her make her incredibly racist comment “We’re not going to let the white boys win this one this year” and remain a respectable player in the MSM, as witnessed by her presence on this morning’s show - they know that had a white guy make a comparable remark “We’re not going to let the black boy win this one this year” not only would he never have appeared on mainstream television again, he probably would have lost his livelihood and respectability in the eyes of much of the country - many Republicans are overjoyed to finally have someone courageous and independent enough to say things which have needed to be publicized, not to care about the reactions to what he says, and to counterattack so effectively when berated for his opinions - Trump is largely a creation of the likes of Dowd, Brazile, and Stephanopoulus......

Thanks, I just wanted to verify that.
Some jokes are scary and this is one of them.
Nowadays anything and everything is possible.

No, they most certainly have him. They could ignore him, if they didn’t want to promote him. Have you noticed the media ONLY criticizes Trump over what he wants to be criticized for - his crazy statements. They never dig into anything he doesn’t want them to.

Never before this ERA has parody been this easy...

given the bizarre nature of much of what we call current events...it really is hard to tell the difference between reality...and “comedy”

I think you’ve lost touch with reality.

Possibly the most severe case of Donald Derangement Syndrome that I’ve seen.

No. Trump has definite plans. Something you didn’t exist when Hopey Changey was running.

Hey Matt!

The elections for nomination are not being held today.

On which election in the last 20 years was the one who was ahead this early, the eventual GOP nominee?

Not one delegate yet, so, no. 2016 Chronological Cumulative Allocation of Delegates.

Transcript for Matthew Dowd: ‘Donald Trump, as of Today, is the Republican Nominee for President’

Let’s bring in our political analyst, Matthew dowd, you don’t think so?

I don’t think it’s going to be the fall of trump. If you look at where the race is today and some level of history, this race is way beyond anying we have seen. I think Donald Trump as of today is the republican nominee for president.

The republican nominee for president?

He leads nationally in every single poll for more than two months. He leads every single state. Including Florida, where he leads Jeb bush, Jeb bush is third. Any republican who has led for two months and led every state, has won the gop nomination.

Bill kristol?

It won’t happen. Trump has hit a ceiling of about 30%. He deserves a lot of credit for running a very clever campaign and showing how unhappy every is with the republican establishment and unfortunately for some of the rest of the field. But I do — I said this about six weeks it’s a little premature. So, maybe trump will last another two, three weeks.

Considering his on-going stupidity in the way he addressed today’s terror attack, accepting congrats for predicting the attack, the search for alternatives will continue.

The congrats line was a brilliant hook that forces the media to talk about the tweet.

Some people are never going to figure out Trump. Love him or hate him, you ignore his media wrangling skills at your predictive peril.
